  1. It won't stay sadly, and there's a simple reason for it; the mode includes DLC/paid perks that people don't own, making their appeal lessen unless they are busted as hell.

    The mode did make me learn things. I now understand even more why perk variety went down hard after 7.5.0. With slowdown perks being rather rare (or having the misfortune of getting Surge/Eruption) I've rarely witnessed gens going so fast and Killers playing so aggressively (especially Killers on the weaker end) to compensate for lack of slowdown. I've also witnessed, and learned, how powerful toolboxes can be if the Killer doesn't have a way to slowdown gens other than killing off a Survivor asap.

    I also learned that the perk "Undone", a perk that was pretty much DOA anyway, actually takes 2 regression events per kicks if tokens are used, making it a detriment if Survivors have a kernel of experience (unless you are playing a Killer that can easily deal with pre-running). Tested it with a friend in a custom to make sure I wasn't crazy and yep, 4 kick and the gen is blocked.

    I honestly would like if the "mode" was a setting (like how some people purposefully don't survive trials in order to be able to use the Random perks tome challenges) that you could turn on & off. No need to separate queues and hurt queue times.

  2. I don't get it why they add new modes for limited time. Especially 2v8, it's a lot of work they had to put into that mode and for… what? Two weeks of playing? Can you imagine, something like PUBG – "you can play TPP, but only for two weeks now and maybe later one day, if we feel like it", or any game mode in any game.

  3. I think Map Offerings should be disabled and there should be no items and addons, killer addons randomized with no purple or iri addons. The gamemode would a lot more fun as a permanent gamemode because a lot of the nastiness that we’re seeing is due to it being a limited event. All-in-all I think this could be one of the best parts of the game if truly implemented.

  4. I played 3 games of it. Nobody else was doing gens. My perks worked 75% of the time. Blast Mine was bugged wouldn't work. I died on first hook one game. It wasn't bad actually lots of fun.

  5. They should 100% keep it. The reason it's a lot worse as killer is because around 80% of the killer perks are just terrible and useless. It's not an issue with the game mode itself.

I feel like It should work similar to how the arcade system works for OverWatch, when we get more game modes like the two 2v8, perk shuffle, or the dark spooky one it would refresh like maybe somewhere between every day to a week and whenever it refreshes we can have a diffrent gamemode this would make the game a lot less repetitive, keep the que times low bc its 1 gamemode per time, and it would give the developer something to have fun with and get creative for a new gamemode

  7. My only issue with this is when 2v8 comes and we have 3 gamemodes permanent, then we could start seeing the playerbase stretched thin, plus the menu would just be chaos in itself with 4 gamemodes during each LTM

  8. Is kinda crazy how the game has one major factor to unbalance (Maps) and instead of undertaking a huge amount of work by reworking them all, we approached perfect balance faster by making everything be a fucking roulette

  9. Hopefully they will bring it back for a longer period in the future. One week is so nearly not enough with how fun it is. And please, randomise addons and items, and disable map offerings.
