  2. I'm hoping they do something really cool with this killer I'm hoping it's not another killer for anti looping, but I think this chapter is exactly like you said. It's either going to do really well or it's going to flop hard.

I'm glad they went with the Japanese Version Ringu than the Ring, thats not to say i would be against Samara being a Legendary Skin, I've heard some people believe the legendary could be Kayako from the Grudge which would be an interesting way to get Japans 2 most famous Horror Icons into Dead by Daylight but yeah i'm really interested to see what they do with this killer as someone who wanted Sadako in for quite some time

  12. I can officially say I am indifferent about this game at this point. It sucks because it was all I played through 2018-19 but now it's been different games. I'll try the chapter out for a few hours but I'll more than likely go back to Destiny 2 afterwards.

  16. Despite being interested in seeing licensed content adapted for DbD, I have to echo what you said – nothing about DbD is fun right now, not on Killer side, not on Survivor side. Everyone is running the same sets of perks, I'm getting matched up with the same 3 Killers every game, and it's made the whole game very boring.

  17. My guess for this killer is that would have RNG 100%, something like the pig trap boxes but instead of that will be involving his 7 days. and I bet that a lot of people is going to be mad because they are going to say that it is frustrating to play against it. Ping me for the prediction!

  18. I'm so excited for this chapter it's going to be amazing or terrible but not as bad as the pinhead chapter and a better choice than pennywise

The Spirit receiving a cosmetic is fitting cuz she was partially inspired by Sadako Yamamura and since Jane’s new cosmetic can’t be bought with shards I think she’ll have an outfit based on a character from Ringu similar to how the original 4 Survivors (Meg, Dwight, Jake, and Claudette) all got outfits based on characters from Left 4 Dead when Bill came out.

  25. I think it can be good, probably be best to look at it in a different light from "either the best or worst update come" cause that builds an expectation to something we know almost nothing about

  29. They better do this chapter justice because it's a golden opportunity to showcase Sadako Yamamura in all of her demented yet tragic glory. Both the 1998 and 2002 films did their job of making audiences aware of her story, but they didn't capture the heart of it. If DBD is truly the Hallway of Horror Classics, Ringu will put it to the test.

  33. Given Dead by Daylight’s considerable Japanese fan base, enough to be mentioned in the anniversary livestreams and have an entire section, it doesn’t surprise me at all they’re capitalizing on that by specifically choosing the original Japanese origin. I don’t feel comfortable
    dubbing the American adaptation as ‘factually more popular’ though, because I live in the US- and US consumers in general seem to forget there’s media in other countries until pretty recently with Squid Games and such.
