  1. Honestly I don't know how robotic this is going to turn out to be. The skull itself is human / a real skull, so perhaps a cyborg of some kind. But the tech present in the video is not much…basic tools, basic drawings, a headset of some kind with a basic directional camera. I mean, this is definitely not giving off futuristic vibes to me (sorry Warhammer 40K fans). If anything this reminds me more of the current killer from the newest Dark Pictures game…the HH Holmes copycat guy from Devil in Me who made crude animatronics combined with real body parts.

  2. man year 6 has just been filled with great new concepts dbd did not yet have.

we got: our first original non humanoid killer and even better a straight up lovecraftian one at that.
a survivior that is from BEFORE the second world war wich is a first everybody else seems to either around the 90s / 2000s / 2010s
and now it seems we are getting our first chapter based not on the past or present, but future. and hopefully our first ever mechanical killer wich is completly fleshless. i would love a robot, il take a cyborg but a robot would be so much better.

  3. I hope the anniversary is a really big license as this seems to be an original chapter. That would mean the last two chapters have been original and the anniversary was original. The only license we got was an RE pt 2 which wasn’t that exciting to me because we already have RE rep in the game.

  4. the red triangle with some kinda 3 sides symbol in the center on the black documents next to the skull could be relevant to the terminator franchise which skynet having a red triangle with a straight lined "Y" in the center as its symbol. the symbol would be in reverse and altered slightly in the trailer or could simply be that the documents are laying upside down themselves.

the predator franchise also has a similar red triangle symbol and the eyepiece on the skull resembles the eye beam that predators have equipped… theres a little compatibility because theres a character in the series named "alexa" the name written on the drawings at the start but the last name "woods" doesnt quite fit the L- – last name but its still food for thought

  5. Here's what I envision/hope: The killer is some sort of robot built with the skull of somebody important to the Black Vale cult, perhaps in an attempt to resurrect them or maybe just for ceremonial purposes. The survivor is the lead creator of this robot, and was an employee of a not-too-distant future corporation that deals with robotics or other technology (Think like Kronstadt from Hitman), who was perhaps unaware of the true purpose behind her project. and the map could be the headquarters or workshop of this company, where both the survivor and killer came from!

  6. I think this actually brings some much needed variety to the killer roster. Between the ancient demons, slashers, and modern day psychopaths, this really opens up the door for monstrosities from other dimensions, genres, or tangents from the future 🤖🦾🦿

  7. honestly? i'm waaaaaay more into the original chapters than the licensed ones, as long as isn't another tragic killer i'm good lol
and tbh i kinda wish bhvr would slow down with content a bit, less characters and more game maintenance would be better imo (or maybe we'll have both since they got more ppl in the team), but all in all: CAN'T WAIT! 👀🔥
