Well this sucks, this trailer doesn't vibe with me at all. Maybe it's time for me to put DbD on the shelf for a while until they release something good like Alien.

Personally i feel like the killer is cool but like really any killer sadly now a days aside from arguably wesker they do get nerfed quite fast even though they are weak and we dont see them anymore. outside of that the new map has me worried because a lot of recent maps/reworks have been very unfun for killer to play on and this map might be the same but we will see but it does look cool nonetheless as always the actual designers of maps and killers and cosmetics do such a good job in my opinion but they can only carry it so far before we start seeing the extreme unbalances on maps and how weak a killer is but survivors dont like to learn how to face it so they get it nerfed instead

This entire astetic and lore makes it sound like it may be tied to the "meet your maker" series. In the realm where the world ended because of war, it is mentioned that AI and the Chimera is used to try and save the world, but perhaps this was a colinization ship heading out looking for new planets? the killer def looks like a creation from MYM.
This gives me "Forbidden Planet" vibes. I'm glad they are embracing more sci-fi vibes. As for Cage, I feel dbd may be embracing campy horror, as Cage has been in a few of them.

The look of the new killer is good; Kind of like Short Circuit on steroids. Although, I feel the weapon hand looks too similar to The Dredge weapon.
As for the next licensed chapter, I'd still like to see Chucky, Andy Barclay, and a Doll Factory/Toy Store map introduced.

I will say, when you pause the video at 1min 14secs, idk if I'm over thinking, but that triangle on the little screen on Gabriels chest makes me thing of the triangles that were on the files in Skull Merchant's room/trailer
I'm just saying, but the way he says that learns at an impossible rate may mean that it has time based. Power where It gets stronger over time or the more generators that are completed
i dont think a Fox deal fell through. think after Wesker, their theme for the year was past, present and future. we have a Knight (midieval era), Skullmerchant (modern era) and now the singularity which seems to be futuristic due to all looking and talking about a rogue ai. i think they just had this idea that kinda went over peoples heads.
the killer's power is gonna be Symmetra from Overwatch
what i think would be a cool addition to maps would be a "dark room" sections of a map where u cant see anything (as survivor) and bringing a flashlight will have more use in that way. so if u bring a flashlight u could look to see its set up or if u get chased in that direction u gotta make a guess. maybe the longer u spend in the dark room the lighter is gets as ur eyes adjust to it?

I’m just happy to finally get a future chapter. I was always confused why the entity who can take anyone and anything from any dimension or time just keeps taking people from the present and past
Also one of the few original survivors to have a voice
how I think this power will work:
the killer gets a limited number gooey boys it can throw at survivors, if it's a direct hit it'll injure the survivor and the survivor will have to rip it off, like victor. If the killer hits the survivor again with the gooey while the first gooey is still attached it will down the survivor. But if the survivor has gotten the initial gooey off, being hit with another will just attach another and slow down the survivor? and if the gooey misses, it will attach to any surface it lands on, and the killer can teleport to it like demos portals, but the gooey will disappear after teleporting to it. The gooey will also shoot smaller gooeys that slow survivors down, similer to pinheads chains. The killer can also kill any gooeys left lying around similar to how skull merchant disables her drones.
Another cool example of the Entity taking survivors/killers from different time periods. I think this is gonna be a decent chapter.

This is a reach, but people who speculate and reach FNAF for some reason, but what if The Slipknot, and Iron Maiden Crossovers are a speculated return of stranger things? Realistically there's not much you can do with Iron Maiden, their albums dont even have full bodies, and the only one that does is Eddie the Head, which is the mascot for Iron Maiden, and then Slipknot, who is also a Metal Genre band is the only one that makes sense, and plus that both bands are Metal, Eddie Munson Loved metal, so if we happen to get more reveals on the live stream friday, who know's if there is going to be a Metallica Collab as well, but like i said, this is just reaching like people with the FNAF franchise.
honestly i hope the chase theme in the trailer is similar or the same as in the trailer, that is REALLY GOOD
is it just me or is the last name gabriel soma reminiscent of the game soma which is literally where the killer looks like he was pulled from… get creative
My theory:
1. The "proyectile thing" can be placed anywhere on the maps or in front line like the artist's birds
2. When it is placed, the killer can use it as camera and a turret with limited use (explaining why Gabriel runs from them)
3. The proyectiles deals "hindered" and if the killer is too far the surv gets… insta downed? But can fully get up (free unbreakable)
4. The Singularity can teleport behind the shoted survivor (the cenobite always teleports "in front" of the surv dealing with the box, they can do it here too), and in fact, he will always see his aura
Overall: this can be another 3 gen killer 🙁
