The problem with the whole wait it out argument for eruption is that eruption impacts solo que more than SWF, solo que's even with the hud still cannot communicate when they are about to go down to tell others to get off gens nor can you feasibly guesstimate when a survivor being chased is about to go down as a solo
survivors fight fire with fire and get rewarded for it. devs throwing water all over the killers.

Waiting out DH works, in the open. You wait until they use it, then hit them. It doesn't work at pallets, though.
But you can't wait out Eruption. Sitting next to a gen, waiting for Eruption to proc, could be worse than getting hit by it. Beyond that, you can't GUESS when someone's gonna go down.
Well sure in a video game but people getting canceled for having reprehensible opinions about real life issues is pretty different. As a black man who works in retail in the south I've had people with Confederate hats unironically look me in the eye and call me boy. If I tell him off am I being a controlling person who's insane? The whole agree to disagree doesn't work when the disagreement is if I'm subhuman or not. Also encouraging that chatter who's burning real life bridges over a shitty game was kind of messed up. Anything other than, "Dude it's just DBD if you treasure that friendship just let it go man it doesn't matter." Is so unhinged and terminally online. I get this channel is non-political. But when you go on philosophical rants without talking how you apply these axioms, it's hard not to criticize it.

Knight has no counter play. You literally cannot win against him. Thats why they gave him thos minor buffs for being even more uncounterable. HOW DARE YOU?!
