  1. I had some cheaters the other day. They made stuns last nearly a minute, flashlights could blind you from any angle and also lasted nearly a minute, could reset their exhaustion, could insta heal and teleport past the exit gate.

  2. While eradicating all cheaters is nigh impossible… the fact they have NO server side checks to prevent this stuff is ridiculous. The only reason the cheating is so rampant is because the devs are lazy and couldn't code to save their life.

  3. the people who do that insta heal cheats are assholes but I feel bad for the new players who go against the cheaters who do like 15% speed cheat and they end up just thinking they suck as killer cause they got looped for 5 gens not realizing the person was cheating

  4. I just get a lot of blatant ESPers that are just horrible in chase but can W in a straight line to someone corner map not even disturbing crows. It’s not even that big of a deal but like dude. You’re so boring

  5. I think one of the problems is also the way you have to report them. I'm glad I got a whole steam account banned for nazic symbolism on their profile and bashing my team and I for having the pride flag charm. He actively trashtalked and said something like "WE'll rise and kill all of you degenerates". I made a recording of the ed game chat, sent everything with steamID64 and video proof through the devs support form. It took solid 10 to 15 minutes until everything was finished AND I still had to respond via mail for further questions and proof. It's just a time waste and too much work only for them to not even react within 2 weeks.

  6. Number of cheaters is probably higher than most people think, as its very possible most cheaters only enable the wallhacks like killer/survivors/objectives location, which already gives huge advantage and is probably harder to detect.

Makes me think how many of the times I was outplayed as survivor/killer without knowing I was against cheaters.

  7. Solutions? What about a tool to check players movespeed, state changing frequency, falling duration etc? This tool might be used by automatic program to ban players who break these limits. There is major problem with this though. Bugs, devs lazyness and incompetence.

  8. My problem is not with the obvious flying meme cheaters, it’s with the less obvious ones, that survivor you just can’t seem to catch up to, the person who healed a bit too quickly, STRETCHED RESOLUTION USERS GO TO THE DEEPEST DEPTHS OF HELL, the killer that has the effect of perks that they don’t have equipped, etc.

  9. Going against cheaters is not really hard. It really isn't. There are many very good anti cheats out there, but those require to much rights to look into the computers of the players and in times like today where everybodies crying around about data security, this is a no go. Sadly. People gotta learn to either not bitch about little things like this anymore or continue dealing with cheaters.

  10. Some of the implementations are very simple, in terms of programming they're called "if statements", which are easy to make and understand:
IF player has sprintburst effect for (longer than maximum possible amount of time in a row) – then ban (or pass game clip onto a review system if they want)
IF player receives instant heal with no item AND no teammate near by – then ban (or pass game clip onto a review system if they want)
IF player has higher % haste than currently is possible (I believe it's most with adrenaline rn) – then ban (or pass game clip onto a review system if they want)
IF player is reading auras without a valid active effect…

Things like this could check for blatant cheats and slap em with a ban, and 99/100 they won't matter to a non-cheater, since you'd be hard-pressed to put yourself into situations like those accidentally. Not to mention if they already have the game infrastructure to ban people, and have any basic level of programming knowledge, they can implement a feature like this easily, assuming they don't botch the numbers to be too easy of a threshold for a normal player to break or too clear to bypass for cheaters. Essentially they'd need to implement these changes with virtually no announcement other than auto-bans (or review bans), and hide the variables so they can stall the cheats as best as possible.

  11. still fine to play with or against one from time to time but there are every so often 3-4 cheater games in a row, I can say toyou that I don't mind eating a dc penalty after the 3rd time especially as killer that just wants to play the game normally.
