  1. Boon totems are a cool idea, but this is fucking ridiculous. Why was it ever added and why is it still not even restricted? We had the PTB for a reason, but they just slammed this perk right into fray.

Medkits and certain perks will be even more/become overpowered with this perk. With MMR being implemented, it's extremely safe to assume that SwF's will have someone running this perk to make sure that everyone can heal in less than 7 seconds.

I know there is a back and forth of this game being killer sided and survivor sided, but this is beyond ridiculous. This isn't just a Hex perk that is gone for the rest of the match, it's a Hex perk with unlimited Undying that is able to be placed anywhere you want it to be. Main building loops, jungle gyms, killer shack, etc. All within 28 meters, with no scaled buff/debuff!

On certain maps with verticality, that's effectively 56± meters that someone is able to heal with a 100% bonus to healing speed. With effective team coordination and communication, a group of survivors can complete all 5 gens without someone going in the dying state a ridiculous amount of times.

  2. I don't think it's that bad, because a 4 second heal probably won't ever be a common scenario. To get that the survivor has to literally dedicate a whole build to it, and bring strong items that are specific to it. So doing that and 4 second healing in a killer's face with it is basically a meme build. And, you're not gonna be seeing it that intense every game. I've been playing like 5-7 hours a day for four days straight now (oof), I always look at people's builds at the end of the game; and have definitely seen super speed CoH builds less than ten times.
And basically, if something can be abused, it will. And the name of the game, in video games in general; is people will find ways to abuse things, for better or for worse. Dead by daylight has a lot of stuff that has been and/or is currently being abused this way or that, and while there are a good amount of problems within this game and this community to be sure; the occasional overpowered meme build isn't the end of the world, in my opinion. We already have those in the game; and while this is definitely strong I don't think it is much different.

  3. I'm shocked that so many people sleep on these boons. These things are busted but so much fun to use. At least they may give ds unbreakable a run for their money…wait no, just use them with ds, unbreakable. No need to have the E key when you're never injured. I firmly believe they need to reduce the effectiveness of boons when you run multiple boon perks together. I should not get 100% heal speed and no scratches just cuz I blessed a totem that most of the time never gets snuffed out lol. And if it does get snuffed? BFG I can bless it again. The only enemy to boons is teammates that touch bones.

  4. there should be max and min values for all kinds of things (but especially healing). with a million perks and addons that can affect the same thing, of course it's next to impossible for them to always take everything into consideration when they develop new stuff or change smth. (though if they introducing smth major like circle of healing i don't think it would be too much to ask of them to do what scott did in this video.)
also: the game must know what the base healing speed is. how difficult can it be to compare the current speed with that and set the progress bar color based on that…

  5. What I want to know is WHEN are they going to fix the medkits with 16 charges (green and brown)? It even states in the item that 16 charges is a full heal yet, for a while now, either one will not heal you completely without addons or hitting at least one great skill check. It heals you right up to a ball hair away from full health for some reason now and nobody has addressed it.
