  1. Yeah, had a survivor TTV survivor streamer scream and piss about on stream, smash things because i 'tunneled' him, like.. no. you just kept walking into me, should i be at fault when your basically walking in my direction? Dude totaled his keyboard.

Edit: Also forgot to mention this, but its pretty juicy. He looked at my steam profile, reported me, then asked his followers to report me. Oh! and i wasnt even playing the op killers, it was demo. I dont even think i had any purple perks yet

    Edit2: spelling mistakes

  2. If you were refering to JRM with the thumbnail I watched his most recent videos and I didnt see anything of the sort? Is there a specific more popular creator or are you referring to the ones like SpookyJukes or whatever who only does Salt videos?

  3. everything within the game is fine but whenever things get personal thats definetly a crossing line… im not saying u cant rage or complain about some1 doing stoopid sh!t in ur match, go ahead and do that but dont use other peoples name or use their face/content to present them to an audience… thats just a sh!tty thing to do.
for any content creator out there maybe try to cleanse totems at the end of the match, especially when u know ur team uses boons, get ur objectives done first and u are less likely to be considered " griefing " – im also pissed if some1 just cleanses all totems but atleast im not pointing a finger on them 😀

  4. I don't watch any content creator that makes Salt video's or insulting other people, that's as low of a person you can be. DBD has that problem more so then I see other PVP games do for whatever reason which is one of the reason people say DBD is the most toxic game they've played because that's all the community seems to do attack each other and do more negative content. I've seen recently content creators even encouraging it saying it's good for the game which you have to be delusional to believe or not see the negatives that come with that.

  5. DbD content creators are usually cancerous, particularly Survivor streamers. When I play against "ttvs" I picture a whiny complaining person with green hair and that terrible looking nose piercing that is somehow super popular right now. I took a page from King Wolfe and I absolutely and heartlessly abuse their team. I've had it with the content creators' attitudes. So it's 4K with Plague every game from here on out unless I get bored of winning and use Billy or Huntress.

  6. Dude one of the beauties of the internet is freedom of choice. People can create whatever type of stream/channel they want. You don't like the kind of content someone creates? well then don't go to their stream/channel. Simple. Someone makes a vid about you? Wear their salt like a badge of honor and move on. Surely you're not concerned with how they influence their fans…I mean their viewers are tuning in specifically for the content they create so there's no redeeming them.

  7. 06:08 Why yes, Bran, I do know how it feels because a notable figure in the DbD community publicly made fun of my "baby killer" gameplay and touted a video I worked on as "a tier list" when it was nothing of the sort.

  8. Salt/bashing videos definitely work for farming views but are low key scummy and unoriginal. When people constantly post those types of videos I assume they have no creativity and produce low tier content without it.

  9. God damn, preach it my guy

I cant help but see how popular "salt" channels are getting and it's actually sad and pathetic. It reminds me of that uncivilized entertainment that people crave, like watching people kill each other in a gladiator arena. It's just a morbid stressful situation that people get some sort of sick enjoyment from watching.

I also seriously hate how these "salt" content creators act high and mighty compared to others. Specifically in the way that they act morally superior for being the one to call out somebody for acting out, almost like a child being lectured by a parent. It's so condescending and sometimes theyll even resort to the same shitty treatment they accuse others of.

I remember specifically being shocked watching a Spook n Jukes video where he was berating some other guy for telling people to kill themselves (obviously not a good thing) but then immediately turns around and calls the guy being salty an "inbred redneck asshole."

It's actually disgusting that this is the content people consume, let alone try to justify. When I leave comments on those salt videos, typically the kind of response i get is "well its entertaining content" or "we need more people calling out individuals like this.

I'm finding it difficult to articulate a proper phrase to use to describe this topic other than, "utterly vile."

  10. I'm assuming that you heard about the drama between Spooknjukes and Manfacejay, considering I hear a lot of similarities in your rant ^^.
But yeah I definitely agree with everything you said. The amount of salt content in the dbd community also gets pretty boring imo.

  11. It’s not on the level of bullying but something that has annoyed me recently is the number or content creators which have jumped on the recent spoilers and loaded up their thumbnails with spoiler content. I’m all for them to create a video but don’t showcase the material in your thumbnails as when I’m scrolling YouTube I can’t avoid seeing this content and get spoilers myself.

  12. There are 2 other reasons why ttvs get so much hate as well, one time i was play killer qithout crossplay, i turn off crossplay cause the experience got ruined for me by a hacker. So anyways i was playing dbd without crossplay on old Haddonfield as freddy and completely destroy his team, all i did was go on his stream, said gg, and he gets mad and starts snaeking at me, thats a whole problem with those kinds of ttv, and whats worse i notice it worse from playing killer than i do survivor. And the other problem as to why people hate ttvs a lot is how they act during the match, not like your normal salt, but they will accuse the killer of sniping. Another game i played against a ttv, i beat them, but thought i was sniping, cause gamer headset and being able to hear breathing is nice. There is a lot more to this rant we all can add on about ttvs or content creators as a whole. In the end ever since this game has came out, its been toxic fewd after toxic fewd, and the only real way this is going to end, is when dbd dies, which might be coming up soon.

  13. I'm lucky that I've not dealt with this personally but friends of mine have. I mod for someone who was bullied by a twitch partner and it was the most pathetic thing I've ever heard.

  14. This game has the most histrionic and consistently obnoxious community I've ever been in. Honestly, I've been having a better experience just treating the game like a singleplayer experience with AI as I grind bloodpoints. DOTA 2 lobbies looked like rooms of patient and wise scholars by comparison.
