  1. Clarification: the running theory is that survivor point gain is based on how long you survived in the match, so its not actually viewed as a full team. For example, someone would run the killer for five minutes and die, and gain less points than his team who lasted 8 minutes total and escaped. This is still not confirmed though

  2. From what I can tell killer mmr is based solely on kills. I started throwing games on clown by letting every survivor escape with 2 hooks each and max or close to max in every bp category. I quickly went from full Meta build survivors to brand new players with 1-3 perks.

  3. So you're telling me the survivors that teabag the entire 3 minute Endgame timer can now do additional damage to my MMR by staying in my match longer after they've already beaten me?
    Sweet design choice Behavior!

  4. Honestly at this point just remove SBMM and ranked based matchmaking in general. If the killer is better then the survivors and vice versa, so be it. It’ll make getting better worth it anyway….

  5. is it just me or if you are a killer at high mmr, it almost feels like everygame you are going against a 4 man swf even if you aren’t because they are all good at looping and the others sit on gens. The amount of games that I got 3-4 man outted is ridiculous considering I am doing literally everything I can. I’m not sayin i’m not making mistakes, we all do, but the balance is horrible

  6. Lately I've gotten back into Dead by Daylight, however lately I've also had some of the least fun in Dead by Daylight I've had in awhile. I used to be a killer main, playing lots of Huntress, Hillbilly, came back for Trickster. Recently however I'm playing survivor, and I've noticed the strangest fucking patterns.
Whenever I play with any of my friends who are brand new to the game, the killer is either: A) Full build, all purple perks, decent add-ons and fairly sweaty. B) Literally first game.
There are some occasions where it's someone who's 20 or so hours into Dead by Daylight, but that's rare because almost ALL of the lobbies are full build players who are making my brand new friends hate existence. And then when we're not playing together, they continue to get these pretty sweaty killers whilst I downgrade to people who are all (relatively) brand new, around the 10-20 hour mark usually. Sometimes I even get switch killers, and whilst I'm not a good survivor I should definitely be being matched higher, and my friends should be being matched lower. But it feels like it's inverse for some reason, and it's really killing the game for all my friends and myself to a degree.
