  1. thank you for bringing light to this. i've been taking a break from DBD because of all of this, i don't think i'll be playing again until everything is resolved (if it gets resolved, that is).

  2. i was new to the game when the whole hacker thing happened a couple months ago, but the past few days i've encountered a huge amount of hackers. I faced a player two games in a row where everyhting was fine until i decided to chase him, then all of a sudden i was having huge stutters and ping spikes until i dropped the chase.
Game is already quite frustrating as it is, this hole situation just makes you want to quiot the game for good.

  3. So that's what happened to me. I am on some matches and got lag and then it shows "disconnected from server". So it wasn't my internet nor bhvr. Thanks for the heads up. Turning crossplay off.

  4. My entire knowledge of hackers and hacking comes solely from the 1995 movie "Hackers".
So, for all I know, this is all the result of some plucky teens hanging out in rotating phone booths and Hacking the Mainframe with their Nintendos.

    Now I want a pizza.
    And a phone booth.

  5. If I would rather just wait out the ddos problem until BHVR fixes it with a hotfix or something rather than pay for a VPN, would that be smart too? Or will I be waiting an eternity?

  6. The fact that you say it affects EVERYONE too says a lot. A lot of people refuse to believe that it won't happen to anyone outside of content creating but I know there's a chance it could. I also understand that it happens more with content creators and I hope people like yourself and others stay safe!

  7. Enough is enough, these devs need to set complete parameters on this game. Anything non vanilla from a modded perk icon to a filter or file manipulation of any kind immediately banned along with their acoount going bye bye. I don't give a fuck if you are comp dbd or not. Cheating should never ever be praised or accepted in an asymmetrical game.

  8. I’ve been staying away from DBD because of this reason. I’m not a big streamer, but playing for the sake of fun only for this to happen is terrifying to me. I hope it gets fixed, but til then I’ll be staying rusty out here 🫡

  9. Heyo! I just randomly came across your channel (quite surprised honestly since I rarely watch DbD anymore lol) but just wanted to say great video!

If I do ever get back into DbD this is a great heads up to worry about (I know this issue was around "back in the day" too, but it's just way more apparent now). Anyways, I like your content so I subscribed! Keep up the great work!
