  1. I think you forgot Rancor, just Black Bubbles when a gens complete.

I think this or your Loud Noise Modification Bubbles + a number adjustment would have been the way to go for Ultimate Weapon.

Also Spies from the Shadows has a loud noise notification too!

When BHVR refuses to change Distortion, a shift into that Design of Info would be much needed.

  2. I believe killer instinct is restricted to killers powers/add ons because its the only type of info perk that has no counterplay. It also has about the same amount of information power that aura reading has (exact location and active tracking), but with a small downside of distance being more difficult to judge, and the huge upside of having no counters or way to ignore it. By keeping killer instinct killer-power/addon exclusive, bhvr always has a button they can press while designing a killer to give them uncounterable info base kit. If they put it on a perk, while obviously it would depend on what that specific perk does, it gives uncounterable info to all killers during that trigger condition. If said perk became part of the meta (and it likely would without heavy downside), youd see players looking for perks to counter it, and end up in a situation where killer instinct is more or less just a fancy aura reading thats countered by different perks. Worse, that survivor perk would turn off the important killer-specific tool in behaviors arsenal.

Tldr: Keeping KI away from perks gives bhvr easy design space for when they want to ensure killers get uncounterable info base kit. Adding it to perks risks losing that tool, and seems pointless when the other 3 options do the same but already have counterplay.

  3. the more I think about it< the more I think that new Vecna perk whicn force you to drop an item would be better with loud noise rather than pathetic 8 meters aura reading. When I played with this perk, it's effect was so non exsistant exactly because of a radius. I simply didn't notice when an Item was droped. Replace aura with loud noise and it could actually have some potential

  4. Sadly aura reading , really wouldn’t be needed if behavior altered the game mechanics a little better (let me explain )

A lot of people say it’s the chase people like but this isn’t the case realistically it’s the winning the feeling u r power role because it gives u a rush (which it’s subjective so if u wish to disagree that’s fine)

But if people like the chase so much then what I’m saying shouldn’t be a issue , 1. Stealth gamers or people who like to hide a lot in general should get penalized after a certain amount of time , say they hide for 1 min work (the number can be adjusted I’m not saying it has to exactly be these numbers ) the killer should get aura on them for about 7-10 seconds . This makes people realize they can’t just be super ultra hiders and is better for the state of the game

    2. U should also do this on the survivor if he hasn’t seen the killer for most of the game allow his aura to be shown so the killer can chase after a new survivor and not half to tunnel and ect

On the flip side people will say that’s not fair to the survivor I agree that’s why when the killer is chasing after u , u will be able to see his aura for the same amount of time giving u a chase / time to set your self up in a better / good position

    3. Barbecue should be base kit on killer if u want to give it a limit say it can only be used 6 times that’s fine but the best part of the game is chase so we should be trying r best to give killers better information so there actively able to engage in chase more , a lot of time being wasted in the game comes from trying to find survivors or picking up a injured surviror

    4. Deer stalker should be base kit but it only works in the killers terror radius , this will help because u ass a killer won’t be penalized if the other survivors force u to push them out as the other survivors on the ground gets to run away and ect ect

    5. Lethal purser should be base kit as well instead of 7 seconds I would have it at 5, the reason I say it should be base is cause of how big and survivor sided most maps are this will at least allow the killer to better to be able to get in chase obviously if u just have game sense u can typically and easily figure this out but when I’m talking about this stuff I’m talking about a collective whole this means the casuals and the players that r bots 🤖

    6. I would also balance this aura stuff around the tier of killer. For example nurse doesn’t need as much aura so she should get less aura time compared to let’s say a ghost face or a pig

    7. Nowhere to hide should be base kit as well but I would reduce its seconds by 75%ish and make it last for 3 seconds after u leave the gen allowing the killer to have time to actually be able to see if anyone is around

Now Ik upon first glance this might seem very strong and eliminates some skill but the point of this is to eliminate needing aura perks and to better allow more chases in the game and to better allow the devs to come up with more variety in terms of perks and what they can do because aura wouldn’t be needed at this point

  5. I mean, loud noise notifications are base kit for survivors fast vaulting both windows and pallets. Also for fast entering and exiting lockers. You’ve got spies from the shadows and Diversion that also actively force the notifications. Let’s not forget the every few seconds one pops up because of the chicken shit modifier when someone is afk and they get three crows. Plus, I can’t even use spies because the constant noise notifs overwhelm me and I can’t focus after that. I don’t think we need more of these. 🤷‍♂️

  6. ok but when adding something or adding more of something the question has to be asked "what is this actually adding to the game" like how would loud noises be mechanically unqiue to killer instinct or screams, only thing I can think of is the survivor wouldnt know they have it, but a good survivor will know all four of your perks by the end of the match anyway.

  7. 4:00 I Think this is only for actions, thats why the Scream bubble is diffrent than the Normal one, its only for Infos that have every Killer outside of the Base-kit or a Perk and the only Perks that do this are Perks that ar made to confuse the killer (Sorry my English is bad and I have LRS xd)

  9. Me over here using macro sense for knowledge. Especially since my killer is strong at it. Rarely use tracking perks these days. Almost as rare gen regression too.

  10. The reason why there's no perk for Killer Instinct is because the idea behind it is that it's only for killer powers to provide info, since there's no way for survivors to block it. Survivors can block aura reading with things like Distortion, screaming is blocked by Calm Spirit; but Killer Instinct is tied to killer powers, not perks, so perks that utilize it would have no defense without creating a defense against specific killer powers as well

  11. I think there should be more variety with vision perks, so I agree. I also think they should be more inventive with how the vision is gained .

I like how you mentioned Distortion again lol. It wouldn't be as prevalent if Lethal Pursuer wasn't so popular. I know this is anecdotal but when about 80% of killers I go up against are running Lethal Pursuer + another aura read perk of course I am going to use it.
