With his vast knowledge of the horror genre, James A. Janisse analyses and adapts to the killers moves with his three unique perks: Kill Count, Golden Chainsaw and Dull Machete.

    – Kill Count: You have seen many gruesome fates over the years, fake and real, so you learn to adapt! Every time a survivor is sacrificed or killed, you see the aura of the killer for 6/7/8 seconds and gain a token, up to a maximum of 3 tokens. For each token, you recover 10% faster from the Exhaustion status effect.

    – Golden Chainsaw: You might be the one being hunted, but you can't help it but admire the creativity of the killer, willing to power through the pain to get closer. While you are injured and a survivor is put into the dying state while within 16 meters of you, you are granted the Endurance status effect for 8/9/10 seconds or until the killer picks up a dying survivor.
If you get hit while Golden Chainsaw is active, you are afflicted by the Broken status effect for 90 seconds.

    – Dull Machete: Some kills are intense, brutal and cold-blooded, and then there are some that just kind of happen. After being hooked, all dying survivors recover 3/4/5% faster and injured survivors repair generators 3/4/5% faster until you are unhooked. Slightly increases the chance of unhooking yourself.
