As promised Dead By Daylight posted part 2 of their developer update on their official forums, detailing what we can expect in the mid chapter update, including Deathslinger and Plague changes, key and hatch changes, a bunch of perk changes, and the boon totems!   1. You know. We are all aiming twords witch. Which. Given clues. Yes. But why would a witch go on stage??? What if she is just a psychic and into the occult like Lorraine Warren and is maybe just called a witch? Idk. I'm bored and though of this and don't know where else to post it lmao

  2. Alright so that hatch and key change is an extremely welcomed feature for me now. I won't have to worry about a key every time a gen gets done. Hopefully there's an animation for unlocking the hatch.

  3. Congratz after complaining for so long dogshit killer mains finally get their way with hatch and key now they are going to find something new to cry over like medkits or toolboxes again. Yet survivors get ignored on undying ruin. And tinkerer which need slight nerds due to how toxic they can be

  4. Yeah, I would say good call holding off on that "kicking up dust" mechanic in Spirit. It sounded completely unreasonable considering the changes they've made.
    They should un-nerf Stridor as well. That change is complete nonsense.

  5. This update reminds me about the conversations I would have with my Grandfather. I'd tell him a list of thoughts and concerns and he'd sit there in silence to the point I wasn't even sure he heard anything I had told him. But if I was patient enough, he always came through with some well thought out advice and wisdom. I'm going to start referring to our dev's as grandpa from here on out. This update is proof positive they are listening, but they don't give a knee-jerk reaction.

  6. What do I think?
    Boon totems: They worry me. As if killer didn't have it hard enough in high rank. If it's something the killer can pop, then it's something with the same damage as devour hope, ruin, haunted, ect ect … I can see something like exhaustion perks cooling down while running, or gain a health state after 120 seconds or as a gen is done. These thoughts scare me.
    Keys: Well, at least you got boon totems now, don't cha. This, however, I feel will encourage toxic self-preservation- wait for your fail team to die as you hide.
    Death Slinger: Nothing survivors could do? It's called baiting.
    Spirit: Still babies who can't juke a blind killer getting heard.
    Vommy Mommy: Oh sweet mother of biscuits … NOOOOOO! I don't play with/against her cuz she isn't fun, I avoid her cuz it's friggin vomit. Get your raincoats peeps, it's gonna get toxic real fast.

  7. I hope they add a general boon perk, because needing to wait for new survs for more boons isn't ideal
    One idea for a boon is to change Hope's name to something like Almost Out, and then have Boon: Hope, while in range survivors move 3/4/5% faster
