I’ve noticed recently that there’s been some interesting changes in the pattern with BHVR- and I have no idea what’s going on

  1. Call me cynical, but I wouldn't be too hopeful yet
All that's been added/changed recently is wonderful, but they've done this in the past, big changes listening to the community and then right back to their regular BHVR selves
I will say, though, this time I have some optimisim

  2. And they haven't even had Patrick make another public appearance (chess master "!!" move)
I didn't even know about the iri shard change before now. I like this new John Behaviour.

  3. I didn't even realize they reduced the cost of items and perks in the bloodweb until a few weeks ago, that has been so refreshing. Being able to rank up fast and perks as well has been so refreshing

  4. This is just proof that they had the capability to listen to player feedback, and improve their game for the majority of people, and just didn't, for years.

But don't tell them I said that. I like this hero arc.

  5. Wesker has revitalized my love for this game. I actually went back and played the Dredge (who I maybe did 3 rounds with and stopped), and realized I really love playing him too.

  6. I’m not convinced that they listen until the idiots nerf dead man switch and scourge hook pain resonance. They seriously need to realise that every asshole killer is using those perks and that it needs another change. The amount of killer wins only went up bcoz of toxic camping tunneling slugging etc and u can easily tell who is gonna be toxic by which killer they play and even what offering they offer. Time for them to actually listen and make the game fun again instead of making it killer sided

  7. 2:30 hey Farmer, just thought I’d argue with this point a bit: there absolutely is gain to be had here. It incentivizes players to spend more time in the game, which

    A) improves the numbers they can show to potential partners / investors and get more funding
    B) makes players more invested in the game – i.e. they will be more likely to pay money for non-shard items
    C) increases the player base, which reduces queue times, which helps create a positive experience, which leads to more time actually playing and more positive word-of-mouth
    D) players seeing a greater variety of skins on other players in-game might want not just the skins for themselves – but also the characters

I am not affiliated with the gamedev industry so I’m definitely missing or misunderstanding some points – but I work in marketing and hang out with people from IT, and while ARPU (average revenue per user) is important – MAU and DAU (monthly / daily active audience) are also very significant metrics, and switching to shards should help boost them (as well as create positive sentiment among users)

  9. They're not listening otherwise we wouldn't have a pathetic excuse for a licensed stealth killer like Sadako. It's been more than 6 months since she came out and there's still no intention of even buffing her into an acceptable state.

  10. all it takes to bring me back to the game at this point is 1 of 2 things, either a change to the bullshit boon system(make them 1 time use like hexs or are broken by killer by default) or maps being made decent, these giant maps are the bane of my existence.

  11. I am genuinely shocked. I all but gave up on BHVR listening to us but just couldn't let DBD go because it's such a unique concept and no other game is out there like it.

But when I saw these changes I literally had to take a ice cold shower to make SURE I wasn't dreaming

Especially after getting trolled and heart broken by Scott Jund's fake "best patch ever video"

When I saw him upload these good patches I instantly didn't trust it so I went to their website and lo and behold it was real.

I don't know WHAT happened inside BHVR that they spit and stepped on us like we were vermin to now doing a 180 and treating us like real human beings with thoughts that should be listened to.

If they keep this streak up I, I, I don't know what I'll do lol, I guess we'll have to start making "BHVR Gud" memes which I never thought I'd ever see.

If they make the highly requested since launch Two Killer Mode I'll be on team BHVR, I'll be won over. That's my dream right there.

Oh and fix weskers collision issues and remaining bugs, as tiles demo shred can score clean hits on or glide past obstacles Weskers Virulent bound cannot.

Just make it operate under the rules demo's shred does

I'm prepared for them to pull a fast one on us and go back to old BHVR but part of me now has hope which is genuinely scary.
