I love this can not wait to get chased by him in game.
I know DBD started out specifically inspired by 80s slashers, but as a fan of all horror, I'm a fan of all of it coming to DBD — any and all eras and subgenres of horror. I've been disappointed that Behavior hasn't leaned more heavily into Legendarys to cover smaller cult horror movies, and REALLY lean into the hall of fame of horror aspect. (Pssst… put Legendarys we own on the character-select screen, pass it on.)
It's this non-horror Tom Clancy nonsense that has me worried…. : (
Giving us Chucky is the best thing BHVR has ever done. I honestly didnt think it would ever happen. This chapter brings the fun back to DBD.

I was so pumped to see them pop up been waiting forever but now I'll just miss out again they are way too many shards to farm in time.
Behavior 's DbD creature content and performance adjustments, this year, has been nothing but stellar; bloody outstanding (beautiful work; great gaming surprises: Alien, Naughty Bear, and Chucky). I might actually like taking on the killer-role when Chucky becomes available; third-person is right up my alley (first-person makes me nauseous).Cheers, Paulie; Cheers Behavior.

Not having adult Andy is a pretty big missed opportunity. He’s integral to Chucky. I also hope the rare skin won’t be his stitched look. I feel like it won’t even be easy to tell you have the skin. It would be sick if it were the burned skin from the first movie
Pretty disappointing that the Prime rewards are just bloodpoints now. I mean its nice but when it's gone its gone.
I also hope they tell us what all they changed from the PTB, especially with Trickster being so oppressive buffs.
And honestly I can understand why they didn't do a new map. Because the game map is like a factory. And plus the houses of Haddonfield make sense as far as where he goes through the movies

Not gunna lie the 3rd person felt so weird.. weird, but when my brain finally wrapped my head around the fact that you’re really just a spirit above chucky and are playing both 1st and 3rd at the same time.

I am a bit critical about how they handle Licensed characters'looks,power and overall how true they are to the source material. That is exactly why i didn't like The Alien Chapter that much. Nothing in it felt how it should feel. At least for me. The map was more or less outdoors and it missed that claustrophobic feeling of the original,The survivor was Not even Sigourney Weaver and she just looked like something out of Fortnite and while Alien's model was very good looking,It's power was way too simplistic and more or less a copy pasted Nemesis. That is exactly why I ADORE this chapter! They did so good with everything about Chucky:His power,his voicelines,his personality and animations,he is so unique and fun to play as an yet stays so true to the source material! 10/10
I agree with you about Alien, I'm so glad they're finally in the game. Also, "that's what you get when you play with dolls" his voice lines are absolutely hilarious and I love how he just bms basically the entire match. 🤣
