  7. Hooray!! I'm so glad he's staying, Bubba for as bad a rep he has. He also is very important to dbd history, dbd memes & even perk design. You think that they made reassurance because of someone like Pig?

  8. I said it last time, they have to put stuff there. Ash not having the same safe guards you mentioned in a response is probably because Ash I believe was OK'd by Bruce Cambell himself. Otherwise he would have been yoinked with Ash vs Evil Dead game. I'm a huge proponent for waiting until you get official news, I did say that I think on twitter or here to wait to hear official news from the devs. They will say when something is leaving.

  9. My guess is that the license holders felt the pressure from players and decided to reconsider. The bubba perk "place-holders" were done as an "in-case" by the devs.

    That being said, it's great that Mr. Bubba is not leaving!

  10. All this came from some errors on the Leatherface perks…. Some seem to forget that way WAY back when DBD was first on console, before cross progression, not all characters were available to console users. Thus, these perks were available as common perks and not tied to those licensed characters on consoles. This 'errored text' is likely leftover code from that which was most likely never removed.

    That said…..I am really hoping DBD does a crossover event with that new Texas Chainsaw Massacre game. Like, Hillbilly and Kate get to be in the TCM while one of their original killers and survivors get to be in DBD. (I say Kate as the chosen survivor since she was originally supposed to be the survivor that comes with Leatherface.)

  11. OMG YES!!! I am so happy leather face isn't going anymore. even though this is a win what is not a win is face camping bubba's, the devs posted a screen shot of bubba camping like this which means they know it's an issue. some simple solutions to bubbas uncounerable face camping, uncounerable in the since that you must have specific perks pre game to counter it which is luck more than anything. so here a few solutions for bubbas camping issue:

    1. flat out disable his chainsaw around hooks preferably 24 meters kinda like how dredge can't tp to lockers near hooks.

    2. had a over heat mechanic when near hooks so the chainsaw will go on massive cool down like hillbilly.

    Those were just my thoughts, I just hate bubba in the sense that there is no countering him for face camping. with hillbilly if he has his saw out too long he has a massive cool-down which helps camping for him so what about bubba? anyways happy to hear the good news see you in the fog.

  21. Damn, DBDLeaks has been taking a couple big fat losses as of late. Especially since they're basically stepping down(for now), like, damn, I'm actually excited. For at least awhile now, we can FINALLY have upcoming chapters be complete surprises now. 😀
    Bubba staying is also awesome just in general mainly because if new players want him, they don't have any worries now. 🙂
