So why did the "voice" actor assume that the model would be based on his actual likeness and not the designer's vision of the character? So many of these people are narcissistic on a level that they act like all of God's creation centers on them. The only One worthy of worship is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
So this person knew there weren't "diversity consultants" and didn't know what the character would look like but still continued to voice the role and then complain about it afterwards.

The company was probably going to go with a voice actor who is male trying to sound feminine to make the monster even more eerie. Then the company thought, this would be the perfect opportunity to be inclusive, and instead use the voice of a man who believes they are woman. Oops guess that didn't work. Hey, being trans is not a mental illness the employees at game dev company thought. Well it should be easy to explain to this "sane" person that the model used for the game isn't them. I wonder why that didn't work?

Why any of it is being considered at these projects announced budgets (I have yet to meet one corp that dosnt play funny with the accounting when and where it can) in 2024 is hilarious. This is one industry that literally cannot afford more flops. Theres enough content out there now, that a body could only play old games for the majority of their life without a single title ever being produced again.
These so called AAA studios need to set their budgets much, much lower and control them with a titan sized, iron fist, ruthlessly wielded by zealot like accountants. Developers should be laughing these woke idiots out of every single room, as soon as they show up. No one can afford their mistakes.

A voice actor deciding to voice their out rage because the voice lines they recorded under contract for a video game studio they (would have in theory)agreed to do participate in and to be used when the development of said caracter is finished and was paid for said service and is just now is deciding to voice the “problems” they are facing because of being hired to voice a skin stealing abomination is hurtful to a group they belong to and will cause future negative impact on said group/ community
This does indicate there are greater issues with the individual beyond their own perceptions of gender
