  1. Its kind of brilliant: Yes, One-shot Down Killers like Billy don't need Devour Hope, but that's what's great about it: No one expects it, Billy can hide it, and by the time they figure it out, its either all over for them, damages their progress permanently.

Lethal Pursuer gives you a well-needed jumpstart to start gaining Tokens, and its even more powerful on a fast boi like Billy… of course, if you get cucked by Totem spawns/maps/lucky Survivors, you will have to fight with 2 perks, which is awful unless you're at least semi-competent with him.

Enduring relies on whether you have Lo Pro Chains or not, as far as I can tell. I know we're not going with The Meta™, but that doesn't mean we're going to use Perks that have 0 synergy with the Killer. Maybe Nemesis/Trail of Torment/Hysteria with the Apex Muffler? I reckon Hysteria might be the better one of the three because you have direct control over when it activates, but I have no clue on whether or not it works with the Chainsaw.

Monitor & Abuse is a decent perk with Billy. Does what it says, says what it does, gives you a headstart on Survivors, and doesn't have any down-sides, AND gives bonus FoV. Pretty decent filler/replacement for The Meta™ Shadowborn.

(I don't know about you, but isn't Lethal Pursuer kinda Meta™ on Billy? Whenever I see one as Survivor, they always have it.)

  2. 5:38 I'm confused, since when was this a thing? I was under the impression that all damaging effects, both basic and special attacks would reveal Devour at 3 stack regardless of whether it actually insta-downs them or not.

  3. Watching a madman chainsaw people has never been so satisfying. When you create these off-meta builds, where do you usually start? Or rather, do you piece together the builds based on the power, or is it more along the lines of that these builds could be viable on most killers?
