  1. As someone who has never touched twins, i really hope their "rework" isn't just making Victor stay on survivors he downs. There better be other things added and/or changed

  2. Im not concerned about Twins cause we just honestly dont have enough info to judge. The Twins main issue is the fact that downing a survivor tends to never give you enough time to pick them up as Charollate, so if this is a soultion for that.

  3. The devs gave Laurie a visual rework, the devs gave Haddonfield a visual rework along with several adjustments but they seem to dodge the fact that Myers needs a visual rework. I can’t keep looking at Myers’ 2d looking coveralls and his mask looks like Smash Mouth. And his shoulders look too bulky for someone who was only 5 foot 10 in the 1978 movie.

  4. Iirc, BHVR was supposed to have patched out the god-loop windows in the hpuses, to only have one or the other spawn unblocked. Obviously, that patch broke or the chance of one or the other being blocked is so low it seldom spawns. 😅

  5. One thing I want fixed for Haddonfield and also Temple of Purgation are the hooks. Haddonfield has a hook that can spawn at the top of a building, Temple has a hook spawning in the underground catacombs. Problem is the game considered the hooks to be closer than they really are, and hence if you down a survivor on ground level, that survivor is unhookable because the "closest" hook is in a building.

  6. Lynxi is absolutely right. If – and it's a big IF – Victor simply attaches to anyone he downs, it would be a catastrophic nerf to the Twins. Not only would it massively cut down on time controlling Victor (the fun part of playing Twins), it would also remove all snowball potential they have.

    Granted, we have no idea what all is going into the rework, but this is scary to us Twins players.

  7. always good to see the experiments they come up with on the Ptb. As long as the comments are legit and not emotional nonsense, they'll change stuff. I do wish there was more going on than just these two examples such as more fundamental stability to the rng design, hit registration, update to some animations. They've no excuse to say "indie" its a multi-million dollar game now and should be trying to grow and not be stagnant. HOWEVER, the community is so volatile and overly kneejerk emotional, no wonder we're stuck in the same state we're in for so long.

  8. As a Twins main…. if they do what this looks like to them, I will outright quit this game. Someone in Lynxi's chat mentioned that this might be Victor eventually downing survivors who "keep Victor Hostage" and if that's the case I'm definitely not minding that.

    What confuses me is this looks like a way for Victor to essentially slug survivors for even longer which doesn't fix the complaint some survivors are having with Twins. Fingers crossed but I'm really worried. Twins really only needed bug fixes and a couple quality of life changes to make them less clunky and punishing.

  9. My primary complaint with DbD has always been shit maps. I do love this game I just wish that the maps were more balanced for gameplay. Being a player that plays majority m1 killers, it always feels like BHVR just hates m1 killers. I'm joking but getting screwed by map rng when barely any map works for m1 killers always feels bad and frustrates the hell out of me. Hoping this Haddonfield rework is something to praise instead of something to curse out yet again.

  10. I've always vowed that if the devs screw up my babies the Twins, it's a wrap. They outright OBLITERATED Freddy, they eviscerated Skull Merchant's tracking potential, and they gutted Pig's RBTs. And even so, I'm willing to forgive them. But Charlotte and Victor are two of my favorite characters both from a mechanics AND lore perspective. They already gave Victor molasses shoes and if they so much as sneeze at his and Charlotte's multitasking ability then I'm legitimately uninstalling the game. Fix the anticamp mechanism, by all means. Charlotte shouldn't be able to stand one floor above the hook or leave Victor next to it prior to the hook. But if you kill my babies then there will be HELL to pay!!

  11. One comment I read was that maybe Victor downs a person if they don't get him off fast enough, which would keep people from taking him hostage. I just don't think the devs are considerate enough to implement something like that.
