  1. She was feeding crows nested in the tree beside her house in Chile. You said there were no crows in Chile but you forget, crows are the Entity's servants within the realm and they might have been observing a candidate for "collection".

  2. There are actually crows that were brought to Chile, specifically reported in Punta Arenas (southern region of the country, in the Patagonia, where Carmina was born), so it makes sense that the Entity's influence could bring more, as previously stated, because it took interest in her. Whether it be an alternate world or based on the real world as we know it, I loved the concept of predestination and the overall representation of guilt and higher powers.

Disturbing fact: As I read through Carmina's lore, I notifced her death is very similar to Victor Jara, a very influential and political activist Chilean musician who was imprisoned and tortured by the government of Augusto Pinochet, the dictator of the country through the 70's. They actually cut his fingers and other horrible things and teased him about making more of his music without them, so the inspiration is very clear.

So far, I'm in love with this chapter. As a Chilean myself, I apprecciate we're getting well constructed representation; never thought I'd see the day of a Chilean inspired character, and more seeing you well invested in the lore. Thank you for the video!

  3. How has no one on twitch (at least the guys i have watched) never heard the term cacophony. I mean sure i thought there was an r in the spelling (carcophony) but its not like this is the first time i have ever heard the word.

  4. Could still do Candyman, have it to where he activates the bees around himself. Then send them out or spread them to a survivor by hitting them. Giving the effect to see the survivor like with "The Artist" but cannot set them like a trap. He can then down them with the bees. Bees cause a screen effect for the survivors. Candyman, can also traverse the map with mirrors, like "Demo". Mirrors are breakable, even before he uses them. They can be broken quickly but he can travel through them faster than "Demo", almost instantly. Mirrors can be broken instantly but reveals the survivor who broke it with killer instinct. Candyman can set mirrors instantly.

A red addon can increase the screen effect when hit with bees. Another, can prolong the amount of time the bees are active around Candyman. One add on can make it to where anyone one around a mirror will have their aura revealed. Add on where bees cause blindness for 60 seconds. Can have a add on where, when Candyman goes through a mirror, both mirrors break but whoever is in the radius of either will be exposed. Add on where bees don't shoot as a long straight line, instead as a small radius, guaranteeing a hit but takes away the ability to down with the bees.

  5. I gotta say her lore is pretty disappointing. It's nice that we learned that Black Veil holds political power, but aside from that, her lore feels dramatic for the sake of being dramatic. She's like diet Pepsi version of Spirit. And I still don't even know what's up with Jonah, lol.

  6. Actually there's a legend about crows in Chile, el Tue Tue it's said that a mapuche (native person from Chile) takes form of a crow and announces death by singing "Tue tue" on the night

  7. The way the guy tortured her it's similar to Victor's Jara torture, an important musician in Chile. He was taken from his house, they broke his fingers and cut his tongue off so he couldn't sing nor play the guitar again. There must be a chilean between dbd creative team

  8. It's heavy that Carmina's background story has many references, or well of course is up to free interpretation of it, but with the military dictatorship. It's a fact that cops and militarymen used to break into activists homes, to kidnap and torture them in the most horrible ways just to murder them after and make the prissioners bodies "dissappear" in the desert or the ocean 😩. After more than 45 years, there are people still looking for their loved ones who were kidnap by Pinochet's regime.
