Well today Dead By Daylight dropped a bomb on us with the announcment for the next chapter already. It’s going to be Ringu from the original novel by writer Kōji Suzuki and Kadokawa Publishing in Japan. You may know this property better as The Ring, the North American film adaptation where Sadako Yamamura became Samara Morgan on the silver screen alongside Rachel Keller (played by Naomi Watts). This content has been announced VERY early as it isn’t scheduled to release until March 2022 but we’ve already been given a teaser! Let’s watch and discuss! Tinfoil hat not necessary?

  5. maybe spoiler idk: i saw in a video from schmuckles and tooten i think, that dataminers teased chapters with emojis, there was afiery heart for the next, than a ghost and than a web maybe ringu was the anniversary chapter with the ghost but than they got a more bigger license and than switched it all up and now the ghost (ringu) is the next one and the license could be something like friday 13th that would be bigger. Although i am still hoping for a suprise paragraph midchapter sidney release along side the new scream5 movie, i am never giving up on my Sidney Prescott <3

  12. You really got an interesting point in the Tweet where they mentioned „13 days“. I saw the Tweet but didn’t notice the hint behind. Therefore I think that the thing under NDA will be Friday the 13th coming out. I mean the lawsuit is over and they want him since the beginning it just has to be Jason!😂

    BTW I‘m sooooooo incredibly excited about ringu/ the ring in DbD! It’s also I license I wanted to see in the game.🙏🏻😎💀

  16. I know it’s early let’s speculate on her power. Maybe a reverse plague/nemesis thing once she marks you you have a minute to get to a “tv/chest,” for a copy of the tape and have to get it to your teammate or you go down. They have to continue the cycle

I Love how i See people complain in the comments in Dbds YouTube channel that its Not Samara and its sadako, wich i Gotta say is that sadako is Samara Just the japanese Version also the original and yes i know sadako is less human than Samara but Trust me its the better choice plus If u really want to watch good Horror with spirits or Folklore or more watch asian Horror highly recommend

  27. She will travel via the "Wells" (reusing the Gorgons from Stranger Things animation. Where the teleport is placed and can be summoned) Crawling will prob be her method for walking and her attack will be her Static Glitch walking followed by a strike. (Like the nurses teleport)
    I'd die from laughter if she like beats you to death with a VHS tape or an
    Old landline phone.

  32. I would want Kayako to be in the anniversary her powers would be teleporting inside lockers once she appear in a locker with a survivor instant down and has images appearing evrywhere moving to bring confusion and horror to survivors

  33. This is already gaurnteed to be the worst killer in the game as killers struggle now with gens going that fast so what chance has this killer got when it can kill u in 7 days shame on u behaviour! Pretty good job so far

  34. Not sure why you singled out the US Ring 2 as it has much more to do with the OG than the Japanese Ring2,3,4,0, etc, But yes, Spiral is the real sequel. Not to be confused with The Spiral which is another amazing Japanese horror from the same time.

  36. Despite of the bugs, Dead by Daylight creators have taken really smart decisions. Bringing licensed characters? Well, yes, that too. But recruiting FogWhispers was a big one, I cannot imagine DbD without you Paulie! Thx for the video!
