Well today Dead By Daylight dropped another late in the day teaser on us for the Ringu Dead By Daylight chapter! Let’s check it out!
With the promise of the full chapter reveal on February 15th there may be a high likelihood that the PTB (Public Test Build) will be available that day for Steam players to test this new content.

You may know this property better as The Ring, the North American film adaptation where Sadako Yamamura became Samara Morgan on the silver screen alongside Rachel Keller (played by Naomi Watts). But this license definitely is the Japanese version.

Well I'm not 100% sure but looks like she's gonna have map control, there probably will be "wells" randomly placed around the map and she can use them to teleport between them, similar to Demogorgon.
I just hope she doesn’t sneak into my house and steal all my t shirts

I'm so excited about this chapter 🙌, in my country (indonesia) i'm must waiting on wednesday to see him and i ask you paulie that sadako looks like in my place said kuntilanak ghost with that same loong hair and white outfit
I just hope the devs give her a unique power. No more teleporting killers! Please! And no more killers where they "inflict something" (sleep, infection, bear trap) and you have to "cure it"
hi dev i played on raccoon 4 kill but the last survivor i could not hook it because i had the hooks broken in an area of the map where i had killed so the other 3 surv i take the last surv and try to go to the nearest hook but he yes he always frees and runs in the usual corner where he knows that I have no hooks and a shame to abuse some dynamics in this way do less skin and think more about the game mechanics, that is, I have to tell you how to fix this thing? when a survivor frees himself from the killer's grip and runs into a corner and the killer catches him again to bring him to the hook the survivor should lose 5% speed in the wriggle and the killer should gain 5% stamina so if the surv runs always in the same corner it completely loses the power to wriggle first time 5% then it becomes 10% he runs back to the corner and we are at 15% again and again 20% 25% 30% 35% 40% 45% 50% 55 % 60% 65% 70% 75% 80% 85% 90% 95% 100% lose all the wriggling solve the game mechanics and solve the bad nrg often punishing for killers and disgusting to see a Survivor abuse these mechanics.
Nope nope nope. I was just thinking about getting back to the game, but now I am definitely not going do that. This makes dbd a genuine horror game again.
The lore gonna be shit, and past the cool effect of having a real japanese horror character (not a creation), i don't see any way to use her power in this game. Her power is to kill people 7 days after they watched a vhs. Its 100% sure and need 7 days to be done. In this game, every match are suppose to be in 1 night, starting around midnight until daylight. How do you can make 7 days happen in half of a night ? Impossible so there is absolutly no way to replicate her power in DBD.
That is why the lore won't be respected and i think the result gonna be a Freddy bis, only keeping the power to téléport to any device with a screen cause it need to be able to show her haunted video.
How are we supposed to see her POV her face is all covered with her hair LMAO

She is gonna spider crawl at me in game and I'm gonna fall outta my chair. First killer that can counter a superior gamer chair.
i think she will be pretty similar to Demogorgon, specially that now Demogorgon is not in the game(for new players) she will be his replacement, place holes, teleport to them, and some secondary power, like freddy´s clock to awake or pinhead´s box.
is she coming with a new survivor as well?
Hopefully we get a nice looking map like that

I feel like she would have a similar power like the Demogorgon… Since they got him off the game new players/people who didn't buy the st dlc cant play him. By similar power I mean that she maybe would teleport via that well
I am glad because with this, I just may be able to potentially see the Grudge in the game at some point which is my biggest hope for DBD.
I got chills and goosebumps seeing her popping up from the well. I'm excited and can't wait for more content and the release of the Chapter!!
