  1. This is the most fitting theme for the nurse on how it's so calm and slow and how it jumps immediately up to being loud and quick, which is fitting because in one moment you can barely hear her terror radius and by the very next you're in a chase because you messed up a skill check and she teleports onto you

  2. i feel like layer 4 wouldve been amazing for another tyrant, like mr x would go great wit layer 4, nurse coulda been way better wit layer 2, but i get why they did layer 3

  3. This fits her so well, the classic Victorian-aged theme with an amalgamation of dark, ominous, uncertainty, fear and creep lingering within the musical tension — knowing that she could be anywhere as you try to restore a generator in a rusty old, dark corner of the Entity's realm.. The crescendo of the music tightens the anxiety, fueling your adrenaline as you try to outrun her in a chase as though it's straight off the silver screen.

It's also interesting that BHVR drew a lot of references from Silent Hill's nurses, and for some reason I felt that this music somehow reminds me about Silent Hill. I've always wondered when would her turn to finally get her own music theme as I wait in the killer's lobby with her, and I'm so glad that the day is nigh..

  4. i dont like this generic approach with the music ngl, they shouldve added more character and flavor to nurse's like a sound of a woman wailing or use a flute as one of the instruments

  5. New killer dbd music has been very percussive heavy lately. Its not bad, but its going to start sounding similar if they keep doing it. Like I can hear ideas from the Hags new music, and ghost faces. Lmao sounds like a broken washing machine during "near"

  6. Is it just me or does layer three sound Like a part of the nemesis menu theme and layer 4 sounds like a tier 3, Really cool nonetheless, hope they start making these unique chase themes for killers like huntress and pig, Huntress hopefully this year considering shes got her own menu music

  7. i think they really need to fux layer3….. like it has no and its way totally abrupt and it doesnt even sound anywhere near of what they were going for, where layers 1,2 and 4 u can hear that buildup

  8. I still see people saying layer 3 is not fitting for the build up in layer 1 or 2 , they're not meant to build up, Nurse can be right behind you in 2 seconds, the point of it is to express how sudden it is to see her pop up in your screen so fast.

  9. I feel like the main chase part clashes with the identity of the Nurse. Those loud, discordant sounds clash with her identity of a (mostly) silent, sudden killer. Feel like something more atmospheric would fit her.
    Love the terror-radius parts though

  10. This is a good theme and a great piece, but tbh i feel like this gives me more plauge vibes than anything. I wish nurse's theme was a little more eerie sounding, especially in the earlier parts.

  11. Chase music is literally Up The Shard from Doctor Who, except it repeats a bar before switching pitch.
It also shares these same chords with I Am The Doctor, since Up The Shard is a modification of it.

  12. I'm glad they finally gave her chase music. I feel like it would've been cool if they sticked an element from her lore where the most insane patient made all the inmates scream a song in the asylum that drove the nurse insane. If they had that as like fading background elements or something: I think it'd be really cool. I like it either way.
