Horror in Dead By Daylight is a bit of a contentious subject with a common consensus being that the game isn’t scary and isn’t really a horror game anymore and I kind of just wanted to give my general thoughts on it because while the game has become less scary to the player it’s still horrific for the people who are actually trapped in the Entity’s realm

that is a scary title
Lovely video, very clearly put a lot of time into it! What makes something "scary" is simply the fear of the unknown (no pun intended), so when you play a game enough, it simply will cease to be frightening. I think that the map overhaul was something that hurt this game more than helped it even if it allowed the devs more control over the realms. But overall, I still think if you stick a new player into Dbd in 2024, they will be afraid even just by simple confusion. And after they get the hang of perks, there are still very niche/silly things like scratched mirror myers and chag that you won't see often and will take you by surprise
Please adjust sound because as it stands right now, the background footages is sometimes louder than you.
The only killers that scare me are Myers and ghost face, just the idea of being stalked CREEPS me tf out. I'm always on edge when I find out I'm up against them.
You gotta fix your audio. Trying to hear you over the game in the background bro
The only scare about dbd is the killer just stand right behind you with stealth perk
The legion I think the survivors can hear "certain" mixtapes chase music when they're being chased
The removal of the fog and making the lighting brighter was the cause of making it less scary
