Why do I feel like this music does not do this justice at all. As an alien fan, I’m pretty disappointed in this just being a loop of drums and stuff we’ve already heard so many times. The last one legit could of tried for more of what was happening when the nostromo was in self destruct or taken notes from Alien Isolation. This doesn’t feel sci fi, it feels like this music was taken out of Alien vs Predator…..which sucks a lot
The PTB was much better (I loved it from the beginning), I don't understand why some people didn't like the PTB, I hope one day the DBD community will improve their attitudes…
I don't know what people are smoking, the third layer and the fourth combine really well, I can imagine people stuck in a spaceship run for their lives and being eaten and shred apart by the Alien who roars and screams. The Ptb one is completely trash, this is the opposite of Ghostface, this live is pure terror, it feels like I'm facing Cell
I personally feel they should switch Ghostface's and Alien's chase music. This chase music perfectly embodies something I would hear from the Scream franchise, while Ghostface's does a good job of giving a more unnatural and unknown vibe that fits the Xenomorphs asthetic. But thats just my opinion
This theme actually does sound similar to music heard in the more recent Alien games, both Fireteam Elite and Dark Descent had similar music like this. I actually feel like this track is capturing that ascetic quite a bit here.

I like this theme better than the old one. I get the old one was supposed to be “nostalgic because of sirens” like okay schizo I just prefer not to listen to washing machine sound effects in chase.

I know I'Il get some flak for this but I honestly prefer this version of the chase music rather than the PTB's version of the chase music (the TR theme in the ptb version was fine, it's just the chase music I dislike). I have ASD, so the PTB version of the chase music really hurt my ears because it sounded like windscreen wipers on polystyrene.
