I began playing Dead By Daylight since 2019. It wasn't long until I stopped as I found it confusing, then I started playing it once again during the fourth anniversary.. and damn, the game was so different in terms of how matches went and how the game looked and felt. Silent Hill's chapter was really good and successful, will always miss it. On occasions when I play the game right now I will always have thoughts of how things would run as if it was 2020 or even 2019.
Yeah it won’t! 🥺😞 and the fact there are even more issues w the game already speak enough…. And the devs are really bad ppl not worthy of respect imho. I lost all respect towards them for making just patronising, ignoring and such ignorance toward their own communities. There have been more than enough complaints and even through multiple and many khours of gaming we are still left w trash to deal w ourselves.. it’s more work than fun in my honest opinion for that game.
Ik some of the devs may be decent ppl but the ppl in charge, that represented the game themselves (the Actual creator exhibit A.) that have prioritised looks over balance for this game. Quick buck money chapter releases over game balance. The fact they track our IP Addresses too!! Bro I was done.. :cc
U don’t know how I and alotnof ppl I knew were dedicated, devoted and loved dbd to death. It helped aot of us in rough, sad and difficult times that others couldn’t have.. 🫶💔 dbd has been such a big game for me and us. And now in the state it’s in rn, this is what we all we get! For all the money, time and effort we gave to the devs, they took it and left us w only terrible killers and imbalance. Basically ever since we got on we were told, “it’s you. We’re not the problem, nor is the game. You’re the problem” basically!! Even the creator mentioned when the everyone said that flashlight were way too powerful and there could be nothing done for avoiding it that it was too imbalanced. When the korean gamers that literally demolish memed him, embarrassing himself being trash at the game for the whole world to see, he THEN nerfs it!! What kinda creator/ dev is that?!! I’m done. Sry for my ranting… this vid really spoke w me. I miss old dbd

Oh this gave me soo many memories. I been playing since the beta thanks to vanoss and his friends i get to know this game and like it but i just ended up buying it for my PC when the hallowen chapter arrive. Then it came to consoles and i been playing mainly on console but still have my Steam version for the PTB and for friends. Those were the good times.

As someone who started dbd in 2016, these clips don't even feel that old lol. I love how everyone means something entirely different when talking about the nostalgia of "old dbd". Like on the first Freddy clip I just thought it couldn't be that old, since it was already the reworked Freddy that teleports to the gens, and not the dumbass who has to put everyone to sleep manually to even be able to hit them.

I am bummed that I never got to play the original dbd before they updated the animations and before they did the map visual updates as well. Tbh I really want the old version of cold wind farms back since that version is more scarier than the daytime version
