A Souls style Castlevania would be awesome. They were already kind of there with Castlevania Curse of Darkness and their weapon / demon summoning system but for some reason they immediately dropped it and then the only other 3D style game that I can think of that they made which did not do that well either, would be Lord of Shadows, which for some reason got a sequel and all that was doing was following the hype train of God of War and all of its cheap copies
Fwiw I don't think the dead cells collab was bad per say? It was a little odd but you know what, good for them, collabing with a much smaller studio. Also I think the metroidvania genre is a bit oversaturated atm so maybe it makes sense for them to wait

Is behavior not a good company for ips? I think they do good job with ips

I think Castlevania and Metroid are finding it difficult to produce new games because
1. They have to follow the format they basically invented and popularized.
2. There is not much hype with a Castlevania game because of other games using the MetroidVania format.
