  1. They shouldn't make it so you don't get chained at all while solving the lament configuration, they should restore its behavior from the PTB where you can continue solving it even if a chain hits you

  2. Let's be honest here, the developers deserve much better fans, everyone treats this game as sport and not the wonderful art piece it is

    Not to mention how everyone complains over the dumbest stuff even tho changing it wouldn't be fitting for the game, and besides since when does the community ever agree on a change, if we can't come up with a solution for a small issue that we all enjoy then why on earth would you expect them to with just relative ease XD

  3. How you feel about Camina is how I feel about Jonah. Jonah is a garbage fire of a story, a terrible one at that, but he has potential. I see him more of an Adam or a Yoichi, smart men that are a bit introverted but hella good at what they do. I hope behavior goes this direction with him cause I want to see Jonah improve.

  4. Year 6 can be summarized as "we fucked up all year but at least the last 2 months were good." Legion update was the start and now the stuff coming in Year 7 looks amazing, but I have no idea why BHVR had their head up their ass for most of year 6.

  5. i feel like the problem with ghostface atm (beyond M1 killer woes) is that his reveal mechanics are still as inconsistent as ever. I've stared straight at him and it hasn't done shit, while I'll accidentally break him out of his shroud when he's squatting in the corner of my screen.

    I feel the same pain when I'm playing as him, too. I think further tuning to the shroud and actually rewarding Ghostface for getting successful downs in shroud would go a long way—say, reducing the cool down of his power for getting successful hits. 2 seconds for getting a hit in shroud, 4 seconds for successfully hitting a marked one.

  6. The perk rework sounds good and all but it feels like it doesn’t do anything for solo queue survivors. If anything, it makes playing solo queue feel tougher. Also remember when dbd devs said they wanted to implement a location tool for survivors where the UI tells you where your teammates are at at all times under the portraits? Apparently that would make playing solo queue experience better? Yeah, that was supposed to be implemented in year 6, but we have not gotten that, nor was there ever any update about it. It was like the devs said it then forgotten about it immediately afterwards. Like, it genuinely feels like dbd devs are forgetting about their solo queue players and want to make playing solo queue more frustrating.

  7. Pixel, before mmr I didn't ever bring any meta. Now, at least until nerf, I run bt, dead hard, ds, and adrenaline. Before I ran autodidact, pharmacy, bt, and usually something else ridiculous. I miss running fun builds.

  8. you make amazing points in this especially about the original content, that being said not only do i also adore carmina and i see massive potential in her, but i love mikaela, this may be because im a person who practices witchcraft, and i think shes very attractive, but i like her lore, and i think though its rough i think a well done tome could do a whole deal of good for her

  9. I actually think artist is fun to play against. She's a less cancerous hag imo with her anti loops. Sadako was one of the weakest killers I have seen in a good bit. She really still needs changes to make her mechanics better. Nemesis is a character that just doesnt feel good with zombie ai and the tentacle giving a sprint burst with the first hit and no damage. Pinhead was very well designed with fun new perks and honestly a great addition. Slinger getting nerfed so hard despite huntress being played more and still being better is just sad. Wraith and Twins nerfs were so unneeded.

    Boon perks are easily my least favorite addition. CoH and the Unbreakable one can define a match just because of one player. It feels like boons sounded fun on paper but werent tested properly. CoH is in almost every game I play and I have always gotten value out of it (I dont even own it btw). They really need to reconsider boons and maybe give them 1-4 heals before being destroyed. Also new haddonfield feels AWFUL on killers without movement options. They really need to understand that maps should never be too big and need to be balanced around mobility and none mobility killers. It's one of the easiest maps for me to ruin a killer's life by just ruining through strong loops while gens are a mile away.

  10. I do have to admit that every year seems to be the best year to get into dead by daylight so it at least has that going for it even if that same year can become disastrous.

  12. Well the 3 other chapters (Dredge, Resident evil 2, Stranger things 2) Boost this year. The mid chapter made BT base kit was a really good change, RE2 will bring an updated RPD, stranger things will bring back Hawkins, demo, Steve and Nancy, a new map (hopefully), vecna, and more.
