  1. Except it is a big deal. The problem here is that, just like with the pallet hit validation, they've made their numbers insanely overly forgiving, meaning the game straight up robs killers of hits that they absolutely got well before ping is even a factor. This still stems from the issue that they still base the server off client positions and not the other way around like EVERY OTHER FUCKING GAME DOES TO MITIGATE CHEATING AND VISUAL DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN CLIENT AND SERVER.

  2. Is not buffed, is fixed, this perk been broken like forever..!
Since we have servers for more than 1 year now it should had been server linked always not killer sided!

PS: when i play killer, half of my normal m1 hits make survivors scream like i would hit them but they are not injured, is annoying but this is the "server" changes, now same with DH, killer will see that is hitting survivor which was using DH but the DH is working and is not getting downed, so my killer non-confirmation hits will increase maybe to 75%. No wonder killers run away from the game, and i'm only a casual killer for the dailies & challenges.

  3. The perk was meant to dodge hits right? but even then you're supposed to be invulnerable while using it and that's the way it should be imo. It's supposed to be an "I" frame, so why not make it to where you can't get hit at all while every dead hard frame is active?

  4. Also dead hard has had issues before dedicated servers "Dead hard lag" etc BUT being hit and exhausted on the ground only started when dedicated servers came in and honestly its made me not want dedicated servers since.

  5. I've never been Exhausted on the ground from Dead Hard not working right as Survivor because I refuse to run it as Survivor. The only times I've run it was when I was doing Adept David and the challenge that required it.

I read the update and had pretty much this reaction. "Oh, it works correctly now. I'll still be waiting to swing as Killer anyways so this doesn't impact me at all but I bet so many other Killer Mains are going to complain."

Circle of Healing wasn't disabled when I played last night, I got my adept Mikaela after a few games.

  6. The problem is that hit validation is ridiculous
Its a huge buff, because now you hit the survivor, he screams, you make the pos hit animation but he dead harded, so he is not downed
You will not get only the cooldown of failing a hit, but the cooldown of hitting the survivor

  7. “Basically if you make a bad play a survivor might be able to react and deadhard to it” blight, huntress, nurse, deathslinger, oni, and pyramid head mains 😐

  8. Dear God… Whatever you guys do, DON'T visit the forums. There are several threads complaining about this "buff" and many of the threads have like 10 pages of replies… Some killers have gotten so used to being given BS hits that they're now losing their crap about not getting BS hits… They're referring to this as being "robbed" of a hit. People are screaming about how survivor sided the Devs are and saying… Get this… The perk shouldn't have been fixed (or buffed as they're calling it) without being given a complementary nerf.

There we have it folks, apparently survivors having perks that actually function the way they're supposed to is "BS" and should be met with nerfs if said perks actually work properly. I'm no longer frequenting the forums anymore as it's just one giant cesspool of entitled players crying about not having everything their own way. It's genuinely pathetic.
