Shhhh. Everyone needs to stop saying how good this perk is, or BHVR (in all their infinite wisdom) will decide to nerf it back into the ground; and while they're at it, accompany it with a big fat pig nerf, just to be safe.
Joke aside, it does seem busted BUT it has spiced up the meta (much like the new boil over). And from what I've seen (as I've stopped playing this game), it's arguably the only change in a very long time which makes the killer (a sadistic murderer who wants/needs to end lives in the most painful ways imaginable for all eternity in servitude of an eldritch entity) the power role.

Love the vids, Loops! I gotta say, I'm curious if Calm Spirit prevents the survivor from being knocked off the gen with Pain Resonance. If so, I'm curious to see if survivors will be running Calm Spirit now!
I'm really not sure why screaming counts as leaving the gen. I'm a killer and even I think that's a little OP. Too much synergy with doctor and pain resonance. However, survivors still are able to get almost all the gens done so it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.
I think the bug fixes for Nurse were an absolute necessity, and the voice lines for Pinhead being back are nice. I wish behavior would focus on things to reward chasing over gen slowdown.
Ok, so what's the counter-play to this?
I think people will start to pick up on how to deal with Dead Man's Switch and Pain Resonance like they did with BBQ and Chili. Really if you play around BBQ you're also playing around Pain Res. Once you know about it, wait for the killer to hook and use their power before you get back on the gen. If you see the gen pop from pain res, just hide. Survivors can also use the gen block to their advantage. If they stick to gens for as long as possible and lead the chase away, the killer can't kick and regress it like a free Repressed Alliance. Also Calm Spirit maybe has an actual use now?
