With the base game changes coming for killers in the next patch, Deathslinger is getting some spicy buffs. Let’s hope he isn’t getting nerfed again this time (:

  1. Not to mention you can’t dh the spear anymore, since the I frames are removed. This makes dh for cover against a slinger no longer and effective strat, bc you’ll get speared either way. So many killers are getting indirect buffs from these changes and I love it so much

  2. even tho these buffs are nice, while deathslinger is realoding to get his second hit i already could have downed half of the team playing huntress/trickster, our cowboy need more buffs

  3. So let me get this straight…this next change that's gonna happen in a few days

Reload speed add ons….with full stack stbfl

That's like….death slinger nerfs is reverted now!

  4. Lets gooooooo, killers really need to be overpowered! Holy shit Batman! Forget chases and second chance perks! Every killer should come equipped base kit with a 9mil they can just pullout whenever they see a survivor. Playing dbd is far too hard for killers, so oppressed. Keep catering, spoon feeding and boosting egos bhvr😄

  5. As a Slinger Main, these changes won’t mean much imo. Experiments like this are done in perfect straight LOS scenarios. Majority of survivors will be able to use terrain or divert to a pallet or window or some obstacle to where this isn’t going to be that drastic of a “shadow buff.” You’re also relying on the player being competent enough to reload and shoot successfully at a survivor who isn’t running in a straight line.

Cause at the same time, nerfing slinger anymore because of this new core mechanic change would be redundant to the reason this core mechanics were changed in the first place. If anything this slight tweak to ALL killer performance, is a good thing for Slinger since he still lacks in general map pressure, 1v4 scenarios, and Gen pressure. But I don’t believe this is going to be as “OP” as this video makes it out to be. Just my take on the changes 🤷🏻‍♂️

  6. as a slinger main, played him today and the cooldown after hitting survivors is so useful. it feels like 2 stacks of stbfl, which makes actual 6 stacks like the previous 8. this paired with his quicker reload add-ons is sick
