I'd like someone to explain how MMR ruins a casual game? I understand it is something that can be exploited but it most cases the casual game benefits from it by allowing low skill players to play with low skill players rather than randomly being matched up with ones that vastly better than them?
The Spirit nerf adds “skill” to her because now her stealth isn’t a stealth its just a speed boost that blinds her. The foot steps mean you’re visible unless u walk on grass in which case the grass moves giving u away anyway. Even if survivors don’t see your visual indicator they’ll still hear her your phase Lullaby indicating where you’re coming from. I can see this change effectively ending Spirit gen grabs, and causing Spirits to get stunned mid phase by pallets and shit as well as just having survivors camp vaults since they’ll be able to tell when you’re close to vault away
the nerf definitely doesn't increase her skill but if they really insist on nerfing her they should just add the multidirectional phasing audio, pinpointing her location and what she's doing just by sound might still be difficult sometimes but if you can just see exactly where she is and where she is going from the grass/dirt it really is just a massive crutch that takes no skill to make use of, and even if you somehow don't see the grass you can look at the general direction of where the phase sound is coming and find the grass from there

No like I have to play like a god just to get 2 kills….. It's shocking how fast gens fly when you don't go through health states and or pallets fast af

8:20 His arguments about 4 Hooks -> 4 kills not being a win will never be valid… If the survivors are so trash that they all die on the first hook its their fault. If you play League of Legends and the enemy team camps in the base while you go and win without ever interacting with them you also win. If you play csgo and the enemy team stands in the base until the time runs out you also win. If you go and do all 5 gens and escape as a survivor and never see the killer by hiding from him because he is too stupid to find you, you ALSO win.
STBFL can be pretty crazy. I was playing a prenerf spirit match and had 8 stacks and all the survivors were injured and hook diving so it was easy to just keep downing them even with BT

Every single update is just a nurffed towards The Killers and The Killers themselves aren't even that strong it's the people that play them for hundreds of hours that make them look strong.
I truly love how he as one of the best players in the game questions a lot of the stuff developers in this game do because it's do because it just doesn't make sense.
Not a single person who plays or mains survivor Always thinks it's so easy to play the killer and that's just not the case if anything every update gets more difficult and survivors Have become so easy and yet they'll still find a reason to complain that's the only thing they're actually skilled at.
Survivors really don't take any skill at all I prefer to play killer because at least it's a challenge for survivors it's just too easy it's really boring I have no idea why they complain so much.
Before SBMM I was able to run those 0-slowdown builds and win 80% of games, but after SBMM went in my games without gen slowdown lasted 5-7 minutes at most and it turned impossible to do so.
Now I run gen slowdown and still struggle to just get a 2k every game. I've completely stopped playing my 'main' killers because the game just isn't fun at high MMR – but all of my lower MMR killers are slowly climbing to that point and I just don't even want to play the game anymore.
