This is a neat idea, does anyone know when the Anniversary event will start??
I can tell that your a newer player. I’ve been playing since day one and this is very common knowledge in dbd.
Do you get any incentives from this ?
I usually bring bbq, thrill of the hunt, distressing, and beast of prey during these events. With 5 bps or anniversary cakes, you can get upwards of 200k bloodpoints a game. My average last year was around 70-90k a game (most games had 1-3 cakes). I wouldn't usually farm, unless I was trying to complete a difficult challenge, so I would get 20-30k a match (before bloodpoint bonus).
Lucky for me I have every1 at p1 lvl 1 or higher
In conclusion
Use the fricking Cakes

Plus prove thyself and we’re gonna live forever give you a lot of extra blood points! Run BT and go for saves to get 4 stacks and you can get a lot on survivor 🤗

Considering my highest level killer is only level 35, I will certainly do my best to get cakes. But no promises.
I have almost 200-300 cakes from previous events on my nea, my plan is to use the old ones and then level up my characters, leaving one if each cake on my nea, and then using the new cakes on whatever character I was leveling up, while running a saving build with were gonna live forever
Hi, I wanted to make a quick correction! So the event will officially start in June, either the 14th or at a later date. I got confused and said May, but in late May is when we get news, streams and the PTB for the anniversary chapter! Really sorry about that 😖

It also must be noted that P3 and P0 have barely any difference in the amount of cakes you get, the only difference between Prestiged Characters is the rarity of items found in the bloodweb (bloodweb sizes arent changed with P Characters), higher the Prestige, the higher chance of items of a better rarity spawning within the bloodweb. This, of course, doesnt affect event offerings at all, as event offerings are calculated separately from items in the bloodweb having increased rarity, if anything it makes getting a Prestiged Character easier since the amount of slots in the bloodweb are taken up by event offerings, reducing the total spawns of higher rarity items by reducing the spawns of other items in general.
Sad that I'm gonna miss the event while I'm on holiday for 2 months. Hopefully the Rift at least runs into august so I can grind it out when I get home lol
For the fourth year anniversary I got Pyramid Head to p3 within 2 days! By the time it was over, I had 73 cakes on him. I still have like 30 something left today.
I'm not doing this. It took me over 2 weeks to get all perks on my first killer (Deathslinger) and this was starting from level 40. Going P2 and P3 on anyone will mean I just won't be able to enjoy the game.
Ooh, thanks for this idea! I was not considering it. Last year, I did grind for every perk for Huntress, so I did get soooo many cakes. Still have ~20 for some reason, LOL.
PLEASE don't do this everyone, I did this to 8 or 9 characters during 4th anniversary and it is awful…
I always see a video like this before every anniversary event and small bloodwebs do NOT guarantee an anniversary cake (or even an event item) until about lvl 15 or so.
Before that for killer, you'll probably will be getting 1 cake per 2-3 bloodwebs & for survivor, it's much worse considering you get much less cakes with event items often taking their place.
If you genuinely want a lot of cakes, get every bloodweb 1 common/ brown item away from finishing the bloodweb before the event so that once the event starts, you just buy 1 brown item and get a whole new bloodweb. Large bloodwebs for killer guarantee an anniversary cake, often also giving a 2nd or 3rd one as well. For survivors, the cakes aren't guaranteed though it's still your best shot at getting the most cakes.
Are the dbd devs still silencing critic like with Dowsey and removing his twitch shirt? Is the community less toxic? I am curious as I would like to get back into the game, but don't wish to support such activities.
I’m a doctor main, and I still got well over 170 cakes of both the year 4 and year 5 anniversary on him.
