  1. buffing DS (4 seconds), sorting out SBMM, bringing back the bbq bonus/ruin and hiding prestige are the valid
everything else you said just screams entitled survivor main and they are all terrible ideas that i hard disagree on and would definitely make the killer player base die down, which then makes queue times for survivors terrible then the game dies

  2. ahahaha survs need ahaha nice joke….
hey look at me i am surv i need no brain to play i just drop palet after palet
hey look at me i can counter Eruption DMS and 99% killer perks by new hud or voice chat
hey look at me i can do gen in 30 sec
hey look at me i perm destroy any hex build without special perks and kill cant destroy my boon wow
hey look at me i can still escape with hatch when all team fail…ouh hatch closed…no problem i can ez rat open gates

its so funny to see ppl then ask why ppl camp / tunnel…. mb bec survs are so OP that there is no other choice…and i dont wanna run around a wall or something 3 times so you can drop pallet and run to next one…wow so fun….

half killers just left the game bec of new hud…not only it counters killer builds just by looking at it….its strait message to killers that for devs SWF cheating/abuse is ok for them….that survs all they care about bec they bring more skins money…

like i cant even play my fav killer or fav build ( pain res+dms ) or hex builds bec i know i will get ppl with voice chat ….now new hud…
    killer gameplay is a PAIN
but devs still listen to low skill survs who cry about Eruption … and they will nerf it…. when all you need to do to counter Erupt is look at new Hud…. when killer needs to put a lot of work to pop Eruption and then HOPE for someone to catch it…

  3. I agree with everything. I've noticed that if you are a good survivour then the killer bms you and will camp you. Happened to me so many times yesterday that the last time i just closed the game and i don't think i will be returning for quite some time. Its like usually in other games you get rewarded for playing good and building skill but in dbd you get hit on hook and camped😭

  4. I think you would maybe form a better perspective on killer if you played both sides equally. You admit that you don’t play both sides equally and I think it shows in your main arguments. Just because you play killer here and there and don’t camp or tunnel, doesn’t mean that everyone shares that same experience.

Also, tunneling and camping doesn’t imply you have no skill, which is a point you’re making. It’s just playing for doing what’s best to win, and no one should be shamed for wanting to win, it’s literally their objective.

The blame is and always will be on the devs for allowing players to utilize these mechanics.

At the end of the day, people can play their game however they want to with mechanics allowed to them in the game. Trying to equate that people are assholes, have no empathy, or are mean people IRL because they play a game a certain way is asinine. There is no correlation with playing a video game and how you are IRL. You didn’t make those points in the video, but I’ve seen similar sentiments on Twitter.

  5. I agree 1000%. Playing survivor in DBD has been absolutely terrible for me for the past few months. Mainly I play solo queue or with one other person and its horrible. I used to be able to play dbd for hours and now I'm done after 4 games…its really bad at the moment and I definitely hope they take this seriously!! Great job!!

  6. As someone who used to be a mostly survivor player, DH should never be touched again imo. It's biggest strength is that it is THE most consistently valuable perk in the entire survivor roster. There is almost never a game you will play where it does not come into effect in a way that benefits you, and there are countless other perks that are extremely situational/not guaranteed to get any value whatsoever in an average match. Why should Dead Hard be getting special treatment here? Buffing it to increase the consistency of its value again would leave us with the same problem that perk has always presented; the reinforcement of a stale meta and it continuing to be a constant pain in the ass for half the community to deal with. Leave it and find other ways to encourage/reward killers for playing in a more fair and enjoyable manner.

  7. Just what that was overall pain i was really hopeing for the it‘s a prank in the end but wtf. I mean it would take way to long to talk all about this and discuss it but please just think about the other side

  8. Agreed with the 6.1 rework. So many of my friends say the game isnt fun anymore. We used to be able to try so many different builds and just have a fun match. Now its just a sweat fest. The camping and tunneling has been awful. Theres no skill involved in that and it just makes the game not fun.

  9. just being completely honest and even tho I main killer, survivor 100% should be buffed more, there was no point in reducing their hit burst AND give killers faster pallet breaks and weapon cooldowns it makes no sense to double buff while hard nerfing, killers have the most busted perk Ive ever seen in my time of playing the game survivors best perk is DH which idk how people still get hit by them on average its literally waiting an additional .5 seconds it really shouldnt be as complained about as it is, I have been taking the longest breaks from the game and as of rn have only like 1-3 hours in the last 3-4 weeks when usually Id have probably like 15-20 hours per week cuz killer is just too easy and survivor is just unfun due to eruption and solo q being horrible and the current changes/buffs they just gave survs were completely useless honestly most people are still way too awful to make use of the info, survivor is awful and needs some buffs, also nerf STBFL in the process that perk has been my absolute favorite perk since I got it when I got Michael like a month after playing this game and still I can see that because they never nerfed it when they gave the basekit buffs it makes the game even way easier than it already was for killer and its just dumb, oh and as an afterthought just wanna say you and I main both main Spirit (and Claud 🙂 lol) but as a fellow Spirit main I can say nerfing iron will was also so so so so so dumb, I don’t even find her fun to play anymore cuz it’s just too easy without the occasional iron will I could track so well with footsteps and now the ability I learned of tracking with footsteps feels wasted, you’ll probably get replies like “well you don’t get it cuz you main survivor or cuz you main Spirit” but I feel the same about all the things you mentioned

  10. Amazing video and it shared a lot of the same sentiments I’ve felt since returning to dbd. And a lot of toxic killers make more toxic survivors which makes more toxic killers too in turn. I think if you fix the root killer problem the game overall would be a lot more enjoyable.

  11. So you're saying killers got overbuffed in 6.1.0… while advocating for survivors to be so strong that the killer may as well not be in the game, please go and play killer sometime this video is soaked in surv bias

  12. Let's be honest. Survivor was Overnerfed and Killer was Overbuffed. Period. BHVR tends to nerf survivor before they buff another aspect of survivor. They are NOT generally doing any large moves just because the community is asking for it. Example: Removing the anti-tunneling mechanic of HATCH spawn. They did this because they were preparing to add Mikaela and Boons into the game. Little tweaks – like the heal time within boons – are tested and retested at the behest of community satisfaction, yes. But BIG shakeups do NOT happen because Tru3 (makes fun of disabled people) Talent, and his latchkey lackeys want it to happen. …

BHVR was already planning from long ago to add in a soloQ buff. So they decided, in the interim, to buff killer as a part of a meta "shakeup" under the guise of making the killer role feel more "powerful," despite having, already, a kill rate higher than a survival rate. What they did not know, was how the SoloQ buff would effect the kill rates of the game. (OH GOODY, now I can actually see when the Dwight is doing nothing while I am in chase for 60s)… The problem now is that they either will have to readjust some of the killer buffs by nerfing other aspects of killer or by buffing survivor. And a LOT of lower skilled killers are going to be very very ANGRY about that… because lower skill killers have NOT been having a good time on DBD.

And I will tell you why (imho). MMR. Because BHVR overbuffed killer and overnerfed survivor there are little to 0 survivors who would be able to match with high skill killers in the SBMM algorithm. What happens is that you have killers meeting the max MMR and having 0 survivors to match with… thus they get matched with whoever is available next. Meanwhile you have low skill killers (not necessarily bad at the game, but not top MMR) who are suddenly getting these SWFs and multi-thousand – hour survivors who are stuck at this new defacto soft cap MMR where all skilled survivors sit. Because it doesn't matter HOW organized and good your team is.. with this killer meta you simply CANNOT win against a killer with high mobility who identifies a 3 Gen and has the right perks to hold you down. It is not a skill issue.

So tunneling and camping down in the soft cap is RAMPANT. Because these lower skilled killers HAVE to tunnel and camp to win against really skilled survivors. Meanwhile TOP MMR killers are literally getting ANY group of survivors that are available. People like Otzdarva are getting teams of brand new babies. And when nearly 50% of the people who have played this game have NEVER leveled a single character up past level 10… you might want to be worried about how your match making system works so that new players don't immediately return the game due to versing someone they are absolutely not ready for. Any time you have a really good swf peek their head up into the high MMRs after battling through the swaths of tunneling and camping killers – they simply cannot win versing the most oppressive meta builds on high mobility killers.

As far as the fixes in this video: Hiding prestige levels is a good idea… But I think mmr NEEDS to be visible. Even if it is not visible prior to the match.. it should be visible after the match. Having an invisible MMR gives BHVR an INSANE amount of deniability for the viability of their matchmaking. Make end-game MMR roasting censored or bannable if you are worried about that… otherwise you can just mute the chat. The change DH I think would be really good – but you still have people like Tru3 saying DH needs to be entirely removed from the game … he tweeted about it friday iirc… (I STG that guy just thinks he should be getting 4ks every round, and if he isn't it's not because he got outplayed but because DH screwed him or something…. even though you can literally just wait it out…)

  13. Survivor tactics are ultimately surrounded around skill and synergistic perk builds… You can literally just camp and tunnel as killer and use 0 perks and still win. DeathGarden died fast for a reason. You make the "hunter" role too powerful and the game dies.

  14. all i ever want to see in dbd is eruption having 80/90 sec cooldown, scourge hooks get randomly switched after a hook, and stbfl losing 3 stacks upon hitting the obsession, and not with their basic attack, hitting them by any means

everything else is "fine"? to me in dbd

  15. i play both sides,

so your making this video for what for survivors to get buffed when they can already do gens in 30 seconds.
so go over all the gen perks and tool boxes plus heals and boons if survivors got more base kit buffs then they would after nerf gens, boons, and healing kits.

then you go on about survivors having more base kit stuff you know how strong that would make survivors then in the game, you wont hardly get any killers to play the game unless killers get base kit stuff to.

so no survivors dont need a buff.

  16. I rarely ever camp or tunnel but at times It's just unbearable to play at the killer end of things when survivors are teabagging you flashlight abusing you gen rushing the living hell out of you or when the survivors are dumb good at looping ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY SPAWN A DOUBLE WINDOW NEXT TO THE KILLER SHACK but survivors will just tell me to "get good" how can I get good if the last thing I see at the exit gates is everybody teabagging me.

  17. I kinda feel like both sides are being bottle-necked into playing to win at the top level. Everything is abused no matter how innocent the intentions. Gen regression perks on killers and second chance perks on the survivor side.

Little side tangent, when I play killer I loop small loops really tightly to get hits earlier than usual and just a simple E can get over that. Just ugh.

And of course the eruption and call of brines as survivor just uuuuugh

  18. I'll go as far as to say they shouldn't let the killers see the surv at ALL before the match. They can see what you are/wearing/items and they can swap their perks to adjust. Oh you got items? Let me put on franklin/lightborn. They literally have a HUGE advantage that way. They can dodge lobbies too. If we could see the killer I'm sure we'd happily dodge lobbies of the ones we dont like, but we don't have that luxury. The killers really shouldn't see the lobby at all.

  19. Dead hard literally is unhealthy for the game the fact that I have to chase someone for a 2min just predropping every pallet just for them to press a button and extend the chase another 40 seconds is absolutely absurd.

  20. I just wanna say I'm actually a Killer Main, but I do also play survivor and I really do agree with this entire video. one thing I wish you would have brought up is the hatch camping and the hatch possibly changing location after a period of time to just make it more worth to close the hatch vs stand on it other than that fantastic points. well done! Hopefully the developers will listen.

  21. I just don't agree with Dstrike and unbreakable as a bullshit basekit at all. I know some cute little survivors are going to shit on me lmao. I don't think unbreakable as a basekit is a good idea at all because it's just going to be annoying when killers are playing smart and is going to take away the pressure. That's why survivors have perks to counter slugging to punish killers yet most of them don't use them for whatever reason….I don't agree on removing their m2 at hooked survivors like Hag….and I don't agree on survivors "learning" how to use dead hard, that would be easier to believe if that was the case but instead of skill all I see are survivors relying on perks to bail them out as usual, it creates egos into making them think they are good at the game when they are not and the fact that it angers me how they were supposed to be downed yet they don't because dead hard for the fucking win. I do agree that meta on both sides are stupid and ridiculous. I swear survivors get rewarded for the dumbest things ever. However this is how I see things in my perspective.

  22. The 6.1 patch has hurt the game so badly, I really just don’t want to play it anymore. Survivor used to be so fun purely because most killers didn’t take the game so seriously. You could mess around of have fun, it didn’t matter if you escaped or died. Now it just feels like we exist just so the killer can win. Reverting 6.1 is the best solution but I doubt they’d revert an update

  23. This build is Co-op survivors mode
Dead hard, Blood pact, mettle of man, for the people
Self care, Blood pact, soul guard, for the people
You can even break it up to A Team and B team
There's also a killer build for this too
SWF is "solo with friends" it's not co-op mode
    Solo build,
dead hard, self care, mettle of man, for the people

If you guys Quit Then I will just take over the community, why not There's no competition

  24. impressive, u literally summed up everything that is bad and how to fix, which i thought im the only one that knew all of that, yep the 6.1 literally buffed killer chase power and gen defense, and survivors got nerfed on the spring burst per hit and also the new meta heavily punishes soloq players, worse than before, if people tell u that soloq is fine, they are pure liars or selfish people that thing hatch = win lol.

  25. Your list of changes is massive and I don’t see which changes you would prioritize and which you care the least about. It would be nice if you organized your thoughts in a way where we can understand what you truly think should be done and what you just think is an interesting idea you wanted to share.

That being said, i think you have some good ideas but I don’t agree with everything 100%. I can’t specifically address any of my agreements or disagreements though as there was so many suggestions lol. I hope you don’t think all of this together should be done.

  26. I'm honestly all for this. I play perkless killer for the challenge but it's been harder to play that way lately due to the survivors running the meta. It's not their fault though, because I get that lots of killers run cracked builds and camp. I just wanna have fun though.

  27. I completely disagree with the balance dh there's a reason why it is the way it is now because is the ptb you could stack endurance and survivors started abusing it they could literally take up to 5 hits because of it and lets be honest that's not fair literally 5 hit for 1 person to go down now do that 3 more times unless you played bubba killer would be f so no they should leave endurance the way it and i know it sucks
My issue with basekit bt and ds is that as of now survivors will go out off their way to get it off so if basekit ds didn't have a shorter time survivors will be punishing a non tunneling killer because they ran in the middle of a chase just to get it off
For basekit unbreakable i think it should be a minute but not less and again we saw in the ptb that A LOT of survivors just love to abuse things so again that's way it's not implemented
