  2. Here is a nice example that gen defense is needed at higher levels. I had a game on chaos shuffle as Alien on Lowry's. I had absolutely no gen defense or regression. Downs were rather quick, roughly a minute or slightly above at the high end. I had good map control due to the tunnel network. They got down to one gen before I got them all. This was mid MMR at best in a game that was no longer than this match was here. If mid MMR survivors can do that with so much map pressure and no gen defense, then imagine what more gen efficient monsters can do against less viable killers?
