  1. Scott, it's simple. I'm one that wait for the animation to start to use dead hard and most times it goes to waste cuz killers like to have higher ping. You have good ping because you play fair and so people that play like me will most of the times perfectly time it, that's just it.

  2. I had someone do this to me three times. So on the fourth chase I followed right on their back for 8 seconds, quick light swing, perfect frame DH. If you want to talk about subtle hackers, well, you can't convince me that wasn't one, because that's input reading if I've ever seen it.

  3. Ugh, I am so fucking tired of Dead Hard. I will always complain about Dead Hard.

2:03 That moment when you're both mindgaming each other. Bruh moment.

10:17 There's the M2 fake for Dead hard I was wanting to see. This is about the only saving grace of going against Dead Hard, being on a Killer you can fake them out on. Sadly not many can.

I haven't played Path of Exile in a long while.

You got value out of BBQ, telling you were to go and if people were near-by.

    Thanks for the video Scott.

  4. I know the whole "doppleganger killer" concept doesn't work on SWF, but what if we had that type of killer and as a passive ability he or she basically copied and corrupted the perks of a survivor they're chasing? Like say you're chasing a Meg with Dead Hard, Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, and Prove Thyself. After chasing her for awhile you get Dead Hard and you can hit LMB to activate YOUR version of Dead Hard and that also makes you immune to pallet stuns (its on a cooldown timer ofc, but copying multiple Dead Hards can allow you to have multiple online)!? You eventually get Borrowed Time and survivors can't unhook their teammates for 30 seconds after being hooked. Then you get Prove Thyself and survivors get an extra speed detriment when they work on gens next to each other. And then you get Decisive Strike which allows you to quickly pick up a sharp rock from the ground and hurl it at a survivor one time. I don't know how balanced this guy would be, survivors typically run the meta so you can have a pretty consistent idea what this killer will be able to do each trial, and programming what all happens with each individual perk sounds like a lot of work but the interesting plays you could pull off (using Sprint Burst like an ambush attack into a Dead Hard) and the wacky mechanics you'll eventually discover (I copied Autodidact, what's THAT gonna do?) could make for a really nuanced killer with nearly infinite replayability value. He or she probably would have to be 110% as opposed to
115%. But given the stuff the killer will eventually pick up, I don't forsee it being a huge issue.

  5. there used to be (and might still be) skillcheck scripts so I wonder if a dead hard script exists, though idk what they'd put in that, maybe set to if the killer swings at a certain proximity to you the dead hard activates
