Makes you wonder, is he coded to drop that many by default but there is a negative modifier if you dont bring the add-ons? So instead of making the number greater it reduces the negative multiplier on the number dropped (possibly because he was originally balanced pre-release to get far more blood orbs). IDK it would be freaky but I would not put in past them.
