  2. Tru, the 1 positive of nightfall is that you teleport so fast. You can use lockers as your anti loop or as catch up. Such as shack because you jump out and move into them fast

  3. I wanna say this first…love your content. I don’t even play DBD anymore because I don’t like the state of killer and I agree 100% with most of your opinions on the game. You’re literally the only time I still have to the game and will continue to have as long as you post. With that said…be careful bruv. Whenever you critique, SOME people take it outta context. The negative opinion effected your overall mood(in my opinion)and I hated seeing it. Keep doing what you do, love to see it…just keep you’re mental health in mind

  4. So as far as I know, a dev has confirmed that the range you can see your surroundings is bigger than intended, just like the glow on the Dredge being too intense.
    However, seeing as how his base power is already pretty strong, I really don't think they should make Nightfall particularly oppressive or anything, especially since it's a mechanic that would hurt newer players more than experienced players.
    That's why I am hoping that the buffs that will come to Nightfall won't be too big, I don't really want them to end up nerfing his base kit in any impactful way honestly.

  5. As he is is now, he's middling, will do alright against casuals but definitely not Pyramid Head or better to deal with more competent survivors.

    I'd like to see him without the current bug but I don't think it being fixed will make him that much better.

    But he's definitely not garbage at least! Map traversal and anti-loop is workable enough, just a shame Nightfall isn't all that particularly exciting.

  6. Lol this why i stopped playing dbd lmao trash ass killer that has a power that works against his own power. How does a dev team release a killer with self nerfing 🤣. Anybody who still plays this game, youre the reason they have no problem releasing trash killers and broken survivor perks. They only have to appease to survivor mains and everyone else just plays the game like cucks or smth 💀 getting underhanded, scraps.

    Unless youre a streamer at least you get paid for this lol.

  7. I heavily doubt that nightfall is bugged 100%. This is exactly how nightfall is supposed to work but they got called out and is trying to save face by saying its a bug.

  8. Yeah, fast teleports are all right, undetectable is all right, but I don't see survivors having to play any different during nightfall. Loop the same, do gens the same, maybe watch out for iri exposed add-on, that's about it.

    That said, I might send a "secret starstruck" !sellout request someday. Night ends then suddenly exposed, lol.

  9. Locking every locker you find runs the risk of the dredge simply breaking all of them, and then you won’t get the utility of the lock to begin with. It’s a risk reward type of situation.
    As for his undetectable, they did that with Ghostface in the PTB as well. His sound effect and his cloak swooshing. Hopefully they choose to remove it

  10. I think nightfall might be bugged tbh. Try this off stream true.

    Go to the eyrie of Crows with a purple fog offering, I believe that's what nightfall is supposed to be like.

    Eyrie is even worse with 4 purple offerings you can barely see 10 meters in front of you whenever you're not moving, about 15 when you are.

  11. Idrc that it doesn’t obscure ur entire screen, I think it’s good as a mechanic that allows him to literally insta teleport to any locker and just insta leave it at an increased speed. I just feel like if they didn’t call it nightfall and didn’t say it’s supposed to darken ur screen and just named it something that corresponds to the faster teleports no one would complain.

  12. Behavior strategy lately is to make a completely trash killer in the PTB, and then release it in live with a mild buff that doesn't actually fix it but people won't be able to complain because technically "we already buffed it, git gud".

  13. Wow. "We're going to make everything slightly dimmer and make the killer glow bright white! They'll be a stealthy killer!" You know, I'd understand the whole glowy locker too, if the killer sat in it for, I dunno, 30 seconds+ but dang, after 3-4 seconds it lights up too lol.

  14. If you read his power it says "no terror radius" not "undetectable". When you're the killer you getva status effect of undetectable I think which is confusing most folks.

  15. I think they should take away the outline on him during nightfall, and that they should also make it so that the survivors can't really see much during nightfall. Maybe the blindness status during nightfall?

  16. I get it, it's the PTB and things are glitched or subject to change but there's clear design flaws that shouldn't even be there. Freddies whole Dream world thing makes sense, it works for him with the lullaby but when Nightfall hits with Dredge? That sound should be universal not directional it literally makes his Undetectable Null and void and it's literally all he has unlike Freddy who has Traps and rather weak blood pallets. I like Dredge, but the dude's severely undertuned because of his teleportation, they did this with Sadako and it's blatantly obvious.

I feel like in nightfall it should be loud and be dark within a distance to where you have to react to seeing his white aura, I dont think he should make sounds, and be able to be seen from all the way across the map, also the locker should make a loud sound i feel like you should have to watch out for it and it only makes a sound if you lock it. Also have you tried opening a locker while hes in it?

    Another boring teleport killer like 4 or 5 if you counting pinghead? Check
    Another killer that can be counter without perk? Check

    At this point, I believe behavior only creating killer so survivor can "interact" More with killer

The one sleeper thing about nightfall is that the quick recharge time for your power during it lets you use your power to teleport to your remnant way more often mid chase and reduces the amount of time you're unable to hit after the teleport plus it also reduces the amount of time it takes to stop charging it for faking it meaning you can get away with plays you couldn't outside of nightfall and do said plays much more often. Not that I have the magic power needed to pick BHVR's galaxy brain, but I'd put money on that being their thought process design wise. It's not meant to be a you win! button like Oni's rage except activated automatically, it's a periodic boost you get every once in awhile during a match. Think Pinhead's box. You can go a whole match without activating it. You don't need it, but it's there. Difference being that survivors can't grab the nightfall and solve a day/night cycle related puzzle to prevent it from happening so it's actually better design imo.

  20. its a damn shame because i was hype the most for his nightfall ability. i thought it would make it actually dark and hard to see so you'd be stumbling around and he'd sneak up on you and jump scare you.

  21. Lets make a killer that goes in lockers to surprise survivors but then give the lockers vfx and sfx when the killer is inside it. Now lets give him a nightfall that doesn't darken anything and give him undetectable but make him glow cuz otherwise survivors would have no counterplay apparently
