Their reasoning?

Answer: Flashlight cooldowns. To reduce strobing and the associated dangers regarding flash-induced seizures, Flashlights now have a slight delay imposed between switching them on and off. The Flashlight click speed is now slower. The sound effect has been adjusted so it matches the new speed.

  1. mak no sense, instead of doing that just remove the sound after a few clicks, u dont have to make it weird to use and feel llike u have 800ms, they completely drestroyed click to fix timing and messed up the flashlight aim once again…

  2. The only thing that is bad about this as a killer main is that one person on the team that spends the whole match clicking their flashlight trying to get you to commit to a chase whilst their buddies rush gens.

I just knew who to safely ignore when that happened 😄

  3. As a survivor main, nothing makes me happier. Flashlight clickers are fucking IRRITATING, especially the ones who just stop doing tasks to click at you like while on a gen or healing. Wtf is the point besides being an obnoxious little snot?

  4. No, but real talk? Why wasn't this implemented sooner? Imagine a poor person who suffers from epilepsy playing killer and having someone spam click them. Like, yeah the game warns about flashing lights, but it never gets nearly as bad as how fast some folks can spam click.
