  1. The devs were definitely at minimum slightly drunk making this patch. They started off sippin on some wine with Freddy and then started takings shots of vodka at the end of the patch notes. And it shows. Beast of Prey and Wake Up were the most outta left field thing I've seen in quite some time.

  2. L patch – vigil would be the REAL problem, not wake up + Beast of prey still dogshit, arguably worse than PTB, at least you can utilize undetectable by switching tagrets, but nah now this is for goofs who cant moonwalk

  3. Nerfing wake up is so dumb, even full buff there’s no reason to use it except with synergy with resilience and sole survivor. And say what u want about the rat build, but that is the only fucking reason i got the escape RPD achievement

  4. I'm actually kinda sad about the Wake Up nerf. I actually use the "rat build" with Wake Up, Sole Survivor and Low Profile.

    I don't play as a rat at all, I still play normally and help my team. But I have it on for the misery that is Solo Q. The amount of games I play where my teammates just DC or give up on hook, it's handy to have a build that at least gives you a benefit to having such unsportsmanlike teammates.

  5. For folks wondering what the add-on changes are at 6:35, Jump Rope increased the hindered duration from Dream Snares and Unicorn Block increased the Pallet Rupture range. Basically, they just made these add-ons partially basekit and nerfed them accordingly!

  6. Nonody talks about the pill bottle addon that used to nake you invisible when carrying a survivor as a reference to a scene in the movie this is gonna be gone after the patch!!!!

  7. When you google "DBD Beast of prey" you get to a wiki that shows you a widget with all descriptions of the perk throughout the ages.
    For some reason it defaults to the oldest version.

    Ill put my money on: Whoever was in charge of this change started out by googling their own perk instead of checking their spaghetti code.
    And ended up going with the first thing they found.

  8. Am I happy that Freddy can cancel his teleport now? Yes. Is it nearly as good as it used to be? No. A major use of Freddy's power, at least at lower MMR, is gen pressure. Freddy can be across the map and still pressure a gen just by faking that he will be going there. I have seen many, many survivors jump off of gens and hide around corners from my projection. I've even used it to lure survivors off the gen as I was walking up to it, for an easier hit. It's not going to be anywhere near as good as it used to be for that. Also, pallets are still useless cause they are shown to survivors as being fake and they removed every single interesting add-on and replaced them with 10% modifiers. BHVR needs to stop homogenizing killers into a single way to play.

    Wake up needed a nerf??
    It's already an underwhelming perk and they felt the need to make it weaker?
    Oh it's used in endgame builds and we don't like that. WHY CREATE THE PERKS?Awesome another obscure and rarely used strategy is weaker, back to meta I guess.

  10. They have since updated the Beast of Prey part on the developer update page:

    [OLD] Upon gaining the Bloodlust Status Effect, Beast of Prey activates: Gain Undetectable for 15/20/25 seconds.

    [NEW] Upon gaining the Bloodlust Status Effect, Beast of Prey activates: Gain Undetectable for 30/35/40 seconds.
