…. or at least trying to. Hope you guys enjoy this mini series, if you have suggestions on how to actually get to the 5 stacks of hex: pentimento then feel free to let me know and I’ll be down to try them in a future video. Regardless this is a fun build to mess around with and i’ll happily make multiple videos until I get there.

  1. What about pig? The whole idea with her is to delay survivors with her traps so could run a hex build on her. Call it Pentimento Pig! Hex:Pentimento, Hex:Thrill of the Hunt, Hex:Devour Hope, Hex:Ruin 🙂

  2. Hex Pentimento
    Hex Huntress Lullaby
    Hex Thrill of the Hunt
    Plaything

Plaything and Lullaby synergy well, thrill will slowdown the game and if they boon it, it will be half a gen of a person not doing anything because of thrill.

Lullaby will slow the game with the skill checks as well, Wraith seems good for the task.

  3. I guess with billy you’d still have the speed to light all of the totems and also they’d want to break the plaything more because instead of a friendly little wraith there’s a big chainsaw man coming for them and they can’t hear

  4. A totem people want to break more than Hex: Ruin is Hex: Devour Hope. You might lose gens a little quicker but you have Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, so it should be fine… I think?

  5. If you took out the scourge hook and replaced it with huntress lullaby you would still get some good gen defense while encouraging more totem hunting, of course they could just be bots that don't see it right in front of them like ruin in that first game. Idk about everyone else but I can't see totems for anything on new corn maps, way too bright. That might have hurt you also.

  6. Plaything + Thrill of the Hunt + Pentimento I think you need Thrill to discourage them from blessing the Hex totem. It just takes to heckin' long to bless a hex with Thrill up.

  7. Since Circle of Healing is the most common boon, maybe Plague. No point in using circle of healing against a Plague, so less chance of boons, and since you're one shot most of the time against Plague, you'll want to not be oblivious. Wraith's terror radius doesn't usually matter much, so Plaything could be ignored sometimes.

  8. this is so funny, i’ve been running this build on pinhead for the last week before this video hit and it’s NUTTY. but the idea is to pressure with the box (and seek it out) and force them off of generators and force the oblivious state (survivors hate that) and force totem breaks. granted i’ve only reached 4 totems of pentimento max but i typical get 2-3 totems of pentimento as slow down per game

  9. The problem with Wraith is that being oblivious against him doesn't matter that much. Artist would be bad for this because everyone would expect Pentimento from her. So maybe Billy, Blight or Nurse would work well?

  10. What’s the point of waiting til the end of the match? Seems like that’s a waste of a perk slot if you wait until after all gens are done to slow gen speed

  11. I don't think wraith is the right killer for this. I mean, hex: plaything makes survivors oblivious. Wraith is already a stealth killer. I wouldn't bother cleansing it. IMO billy is a better suited killer for this, also devour hope as someone mentioned somewhere might be better, not on billy though

  12. Ruins annoying but you can play around it. Bringing something like Devour where they have to break it would be ideal. Also something like crowd control because it’s also suuuuper annoying

  13. ive ran hex:plaything on oni a lot since it came out, and survivors are always scrambling to clease them. A 0-terror radius blood fury oni is probably one of, if not, the most scary things in the game

  14. I like the built but i feel that wraith is not a good idea. Sure he is fast but if survivors are inteligent they would not break plaything cause they wont be hearing your terror radius anyway. I think that killers like blight is better. Maybe adding thrill of the hunt is a good idea to avoid them booning
