  1. Was running the small game + inner strength combo today as a solo survivor (tome challenge: cleanse 15 totems) needless to say between me and the other survivors NOED did NOT activate upon endgame i should feel bad for the killer but i don't. Lost count the number of time's i played so well & looped the killer long enough to allow my random teammates to recover from a bad situation and pull through only to get robbed at the end by that perk. I can't help but laugh & shake my head when i get screwed by that perk.

  2. Played 5 matches and just switched games, it was pretty awful even with a duo partner(I'm rank 3, they were rank 12). First game was a sweaty rank 1 killer with 2 yellow rank urban evaders that were too scared to play the game, we got destroyed with only 1 gen being done. The next match was a rank 18 killer with a rank 3 and a rank 6 teammate, the Killer got destroyed, having no downs. It seemed to go back and forth the next few matches, then I switched games instead of playing more DBD lol. Didn't even bother trying out Killer. The Rank system is better than whatever this is.

  3. It's crazy I've actually had a really good experience this time other than what I usually get when playing survivor with randoms.

They actually gave me team mates that fix gens!

1 of them even gave me a heal when I needed it.

No change on killer side still 4k nearly every game

  4. MMR is more miss than hit. Solo queue for me, its usually just one person who is a lower rank on the survivor side while the killer is a decent rank or its a low rank killer. Get a grip bhvr and sort it out!

  5. In my experience the current MMR works good. I have much more chill Killer games and survivor is also more fun atm. I might Just be Lucky but i cant complain atm.

  6. I don't personally think they should give up on. I do, however, think they should be more transparent on the process of it.

Are they collecting mmr of of the pip system, off of bloodpoints, off of kills/survives. How?
Are the survivors mmr cumulative? averaged? random?
Is there a preliminary system in place that players have to play x games of? or was mmr being taken over the past few weeks/months?
Does a random person fill if the wait time is too long still?
Is it based on a curve of how well the players do with the same killer or are they rated vs different killers? or is it simply just vs the survivors of the current match?

The reason I want mmr to be in place is to finally get data on how broken the game is at high end. Then hopefully bhvr addresses the issues thus making the game more enjoyable.

  7. I think what they did was create a MMR rating for killer and survivers have to match if by adding all surv MMR to killer so killer rating is let's say 100 and it adds survs together to make the 100 which is really fucking dumb

  8. MMR Would just never work in a game like dbd, if they would just fix their base matching making so that red ranks would match with actual red ranks then it would at least fix the matchmaking slightly

  9. This is ridiculous. I'm rank 14 and I faced baby survivors rank 20 and I just give up and let them scaped. they did so many baby stuff that I didn't think the game would be fair and I just give up THEN the next match I faced 4 rank red 1&2 and I lost of course. in the first minute they cleanse my 2 totens, dfinished 2 generators and looped me about 15 minutes with the two gates 99%. I got about 7 hooks in this endgame, but they were just farming. SCREW YOU BHVR.

  10. Even if it perfectly worked as intended and matched players with equal skill consistently and every time, that would still be awful for the game! New players wouldn't learn and improve because they're going against unchallenging players and old players would be forced to sweat every single match. I literally do not understand why BHVR is trying to implement this…

  11. as killer i feel like i got more balanced games, especially on the killers i don't play a lot but as survivor, yeah, it was a disaster. I had one game against a rank 15 wraith with a lobby full of red ranks. poor guy didn't even got one hook

  12. MMR is impossible in this game.

    1) A computer can't calculate your skill in DBD. It can measure your points and emblems, but that's not a direct reflection of skill. It's your interactions with the killer and other survivors that determine skill, which only a human can recognize. Survivor A and B can both run from the killer for 3 minutes, but survivor A uses every pallet and needs other survivors to distract the killer in a chase, while survivor B does not use a single pallet and instead gets cucked by another survivor. A computer would rate them the same but a human knows that B is definitely better.

    2) Challenges and dailies. People literally throw games for this shit. How can you have an MMR when majority of your playerbase isn't even playing to the same goal?!?

    3) RNG, maps, perks, add-ons, items, all have an impact on the game. If two games are somehow identical except in one a survivor finds a key and escapes, well the MMR is going to rate them higher. All because of RNG.

    4) Most survivors are really bad at the game. And so are most killers. The problem is that it's easy to get kills against bad survivors. So bad killers think they are good until they meet survivors that know what they are doing and get crushed. Their MMR will skyrocket and then stabilize at a point where they are alternating playing good survivors and bad survivors. In other words, they are set up to win a game then set up to lose a game. That sure does sound like fun.

It's all a waste of fucking time and resources that could have been put into just improving the health of the game. This is the third? test now and it's clear it's a flop. Just stop BHVR. It's not working.

  14. I won a few matches as legion. I’m rank 3 but played different killers. Now all I get is top tier survivors and legion is horrible against them. So I’ve been staring at walls this entire MMR with Legion.
