Hag mains love Monitor, but why? | Dead by Daylight

Monitor & Abuse has been a staple perk for many Hag mains for years, and after testing it again recently, I have to say it’s still a great complimentary perk to Sloppy & Nurse’s. Very comfy perk if you don’t know what to run on her.

  1. I love going monitor on tombstone myers too since you only really go tier 3 when you’re about to end someone’s game and have an easier time surprising survivors and getting the drop to get free stalk on them with the decreased radius of tier 2.

  2. Legit haven't faced a Hag for like a full year now . Wesker , Huntress , Blight , Nurse , Oni , Nemesis , Ghostface , Myers , Bubba over and over again with the occasional surprise here and there like Freddy

  3. I want to play her but she is not the type of Killer I like the most. I just like to chase people, so Spirit, Legion and Wesker are Killers I really enjoy. I also like playing stealthkiller like Dredge or Ghostface but I don´t like to setup Traps. Lately I also like Pyramid Head. Just for the reason he has a cool anti loop power and he doesn´t need hooks.

Oh and Otz, I played against a Bubba that did your window trick. He was camping and I was the only one with Reassurance so I let my friend live a bit longer against the camping Bubba. Our random player wanted to help and got downed after my friend was dead and she got basement. I got caught when I try to do reassurance again at her second stage but because of insidious I got surprised because he wasn´t in the basement. I got the fast vault and would go away with it normally but he looked down at the window to get more range like you explained in the video. Too bad a Camping only Bubba used it but at least I experienced it myself. 🙂

  4. hag is so strong even the first games, I played like 15 matches with her by now and only once got only 2 kills
I do put my sucess on eruption mostly and overcharge call of brian and basically locking down the strongest 3 gen from the start and ignoring every other gen poppoing

I will look into monitor build next

Would you do videos like rate my gameplay* or some sort of analyzing games that are send to you e.g. That might be a very interesting videoline in my opinion. ps: i think nemesis zombies are still kinda awful pretty frequently XD have a good one

  6. a tip for the the five hag players coming to this video for advice

when you bring a survior to basement put them to the left side hook and place a trap near them so it's basically impossible for the survior that's in a hurry to notice worst case scenario is you aren't in range or you get a trade

  7. Woah, the sacrifice theme? really? a game from the 1900's / early EARLY 2000's? that's insane glad to see there were other fans.
This was during the intro for anyone interested if they want specifics I can give them if they like the theme 🙂

  8. I been trying lately killers that I don't normally play, and Hag is one of them. I have to agree with Otz on the fact that it can be overwhelming to play her with the amount healing methods that survivors have nowadays

  9. During the rare moments I play Killer, I usually go the route of Myers, Freddy, or Trapper. But after the 'Creature' skin was released this past October I decided to try out Hag. Personally, I think she's LOADS of fun – even in the matches where I get completely obliterated.

  10. Also, you used to be able to switch killers. So if you were hag and you saw that they had 2 flashlights 2 medkits, you could swap to someone else and save yourself some pain. Now youre locked in during the lobby.

  11. Yeah… Quit this game ages ago, it used to be fun. Now it's become super stressful. There is soooooooo much shit you need to know, to remember, to keep track of.. It's just such a chore. I think the game could benefit from a pruning.
It feels super bloated with all the many many many perks..

  12. Yessss I hate it when someone gets half way through explaining something and then doesn't finish it, the fact that Otz went back and edited in the rest of his thoughts is actually the most Chad thing I've ever seen, love you otz

  13. could you explain again why laurie dropping medkit was good? how does it guarantee one heal even if you have sloppy butcher? is it because now a teammate can use it or something similar to that logic?

  14. I started to play hag just because of this video and man I just had 1 of my best games as her. I was on eyrie of crows and still kicked there ass and they where pretty decent survivors and I still won with only one gen perk my build was corrupt, monitor, agitation, and franklin’s and most of the time I struggle with out any gen perks but like each time I hooked a guy another guy stepped in my trap so I just had this loop of get a hook find a guy right away I had so much pressure on them. And I started getting all this pressure when there was only two gens so they literally couldn’t get two gens done because I had so much map control, I spread my traps pretty well and I didn’t even tunnel, I did put traps at hook but that was about it tho but did give hatch as well

  15. I always found hag fun and I started her early partially for her perks ( started playing in early 2020) and mostly in part to your amazing content I gained much needed direction giving me a huge boost to my gameplay esp when going against fresh MMR survs.
i haven't played much lately (I played a ton during the anniversary event and got burned out) but now with nearly 900 hours and tons more watching your content even after months I can pull through more often then not.
After months I booted up dbd and decided to play hag got eerie of crow laid one trap walk 3 feet and got spotted thought I was over but like you said one bad mistake the second one I hit ran straight to my starting trap and gave me a basement hook, funny thing was a David was smart and got them out but they started giving up on hook not sure why maybe my pain res made them give up.
Keep up the work you help so many players not give up and always try to improve and hopefully not be toxic.
