HEALING MID CHASE With MOMENT OF GLORY – Dead by Daylight

In today’s video we are going to be using the new survivor perk “Moment Of Glory” which allows us to heal up mid chase after activating the perk. Moment Of Glory activates after searching or rummaging a chest 2 times, then the next time you are injured, you will be put into the broken status effect for 60 seconds, then fully healed up. Hope you all enjoy the video!

  1. Rework idea so it's actually decent on it's own but still synergizes and stuff and also has bonus flavor: Reduce chest requirement to one, reduce time broken to maybe 30/20ish seconds, and instead of immediately healing you, it activates when you stun the killer, possibly specifying pallet stuns. If it needs a nerf after that for whatever reason, give it a time limit after the broken status ends.

The idea is that the perk would be much more accessible when used on its own (it's genuinely freaking worthless without buying another DLC for Appraisal or something), take much less time investment, be slightly more viable against high tier killers tunneling you to stop the heal with the lower time spent broken, still have counterplay for lower tier killers since the stun can be played around and the broken status showing up and then disappearing shows exactly when you need to start playing around those stuns, and the survivor can still heal manually if the killer nopes out of there. Maybe the perk would still be active if it doesn't get used under certain circumstances, I dunno. It also just fits Moment of Glory a ton too. Could also be nerfed not to work with rummaging if needed.

Just imagine a Moment of Glory, Smash Hit, Parental Guidance, and something else build just blasting a killer, it would be amazing.

  2. I believe it's is because the effect of MOG and the broken effect it gives are on different timers. Vigil only affects status effects so it would speed up the beoken but not the heal itself

  3. I’m sorry The only people who don’t like moment of glory just can’t loop it’s not for you anyway,
Mog and appraisal is so much value being how quick you can get it ,opening a chest then rummaging takes not even a FULL health state 😂it’s won me multiple games in tight situations on top of that you get basically free items to help out your team in many ways Anything that heals you during chase Cannot be considered Bad the perks main purpose rewards you for you looping skill

  4. IDK why everyone seems so obsessed with the whole "heal mid chase" gimmick. I think MoG is better as a break chase perk. I'm running it with Appraisal to get it online faster, Overcome for the extended boost after a hit and Lucky Break to hide my scratch marks for the same length of time I would be broken so by the time LB runs out you get the heal from MoG.

  5. the reason is vigil doesnt stack with moment of glory is because deli gives you broken status for 60 sec while MoG make you broken and then starts its own 60 sec timer then after complete, removes broken and fully heals you. im sure it was intentional by the devs to not abuse it.

  6. You were recovering from Haunted Grounds 30% faster there, definitely cut down the time you were exposed.

That was a Predetermined Debuff Time.

Moment of Glory and Second Wind applies a Permanent Broken until the perk itself completes its own timer.

  7. Vigil doesn't work bc the broken status is tied to the countdown of the perk's healing, it doesn't have its own status timer. It's like how vigil doesn't make the exposed from michael's tier 3 go away faster.

  8. MoG will not work with Vigil due to wording and logic of the perk:
Vigil reduce time of status efects themselfs (Deliverance say: You will unhook yourself then you have 60s broken status efect) -> can be reduced
MoG sais: When hit, after 60s you will heal up one health state, during that time you are broken -> no vigil combo it is not status efect itself

  9. That onryo was ass like why tunnel camping is better but tunnel
Means your trash like the survivors have feeling to go right after them is ok since its probably a ailen thats tunneling (im not talking the ailen character btw)

  10. To bad killers don't get severe punishment for camping, tunneling, slugging, ect. Most killers would probably quit playing if they did. Example, after being slugged for x amount of time, you can get up and have bt ( unlimited times ). Make killers put some effort into it, and actually play hard.
