2 ways to fix the knight
1. Best way – Make his pathing completely invisible so survivors can't just shift W it. Would make for more strategic gameplay instead of just "pop and go"
2. If BHVR refuse to hide the pathing then make it so the patrols immediately start chase and not go to the location of the survivor where last seen, pop the banner, and then chase.

They should make it so all or at least one of the guards will slow survivors movement speed when locked on
