👾 OPEN ME 👾
Hey everyone! Another bonus DBD for you today. I’m back with another update for you all. Today we’re discussing a change with the hook struggle mechanic which will be trialled very soon! The struggle mechanic will be changing and in the mid chapter patch PTB the struggle feature will be replaced with skill checks.
We even have a few samples that were included on DBD’s official Twitter account as a preview of what’s to come. Let me know your thoughts in the comments, all feedback is welcomed.
Hope you’re having an amazing day! 🙂

What do you think of the upcoming changes??
YESSSSS
Tbh I would say a 50 50 this one half excited half annoying but i agree with you there's a lot of people will find this annoying
I haven't played since November, this seems like a neat change though!
Oo interesting. Glad to see something g that prevents giving up on hook. I would assume if you just don't do or miss a skill check that it will accelerate the sacrificing process by a bit.
Looking forward to finding out 🙂 Thank you for the update, Lydia. <3
Finally! No more thumb cramps. I sprained my wrist and it is near impossible to struggle especially being left handed
Nice adept
Hope people don't use nervous presents perk or that won't work
Sometimes if you lag on console it flat out won't register you tapping the button and it'll just kill you so I think this is a nice change
The rank 20s are gonna kill themselves a lot…or if that skill check comes back.
im excited for the change as somebody that has mobility issues in my hands, repetitive spamming caused alot of issues for me so this change would help me alot along with others with the same issues.
i like the change, i hate mashing my space bar over and over and over again
No more button smashing let’s go!
