Every collab except Stranger Things is still available, and you can earn currency to unlock all original characters. You will have to pay for the licensed characters like Ghostface but they go on sale a lot. Game can be fun, but as you said, very competitive
Dead by Daylight is a game that some of the people who play the game the most, also hate it the most. That being said, those people are just a VERY vocal minority. There are plenty of other gamers who play it casually – don't let the reputation scare you away! 🙂
Dbds somewhat enjoyable. Had potential but lately the games gone to shit in gameplay, and character design has been Lacking lately
All DLCs except Stranger Things are still available in-game, so you can still play Silent Hill or Ghostface or whoever you desire. This game can be competitive, but I feel like unless you're trying to be competitive or play to win, it plays very chill and I highly recommend playing it! It's very addicting. We usually get a killer and survivor every 3 months, so there's always content too.
Might I suggest Killer Moris (finisher animations) or Rift Trailers (Battlepass videos).
If youre wondering, all the licenses (killers and survivors) are still in DBD! Except Stranger Things unfortunately because netflix pulled the license 🙁

You put it perfectly, this game is smash bros for horror. All of the limcases are still in the game expect sadly Stranger Things because Netflix cut the lincase for some reason no one knows the details but from what we know the devs are trying to get it back

You can still get the stranger things DLC but you've gotta get it from those key websites and they're really expensive now (because of rarity, like 30 bucks)

There is also an Attack on Titians collab with their original characters dressed up like some of the AOT characters. A Crypt TV Collab with three of there monsters of the Mordeo, Look-See, and Birch Witch.
There are also other characters from some licenses like Resident Evil with Sheva Alomar, Carlos Oliveira, Hunk, and William Birkin.
From Hellraiser there's the Chatterer
From Silent Hill there's Alessa Gillespie, Lisa Garland, Cybill Bennett, and James Sunderland.
AOT has the Armored Titan and Warhammer Titan
The other girl you didn’t know for the second resident evil dlc is Rebecca chambers, she’s the protagonist in RE 0 and a side character in RE 1 and I think a few other games I can’t remember. She was the youngest member of S.T.A.R.S. Being only 18 in the first two games I named above.
