  1. Hey everyone! New plan (Again) I've been playing a TON of necromancer in Evil Dead and since I've gotten better I've been undefeated. I'm thinking because I have a good understanding of him, I'll make a guide on him soon. What do you guys think? Thank you for watching once again!

  3. I can 100% agree there's no such thing as tunneling or camping besides maybe protecting a downed body but that makes sense to make sure they die.

Also it's not as personal and there's no real way to bm so when I lose I don't feel so utterly mocked and emotionally drained.

This games much funner when losing than DBD comparatively.

  4. Great analysis. I was set on buying the new game, but you've reinforced that decision. It looks really fun, and having just watched Ash Vs Evil Dead all the way through for the first time, it's really terrific to see all the characters given new life in the game.

Tangentially, Ash vs Evil Dead is in my top 10 tv series of all time. It's very cleverly written, the comedy is always sharp and well delivered, the gore is glorious, and it's heartfelt when it needs to be. I was shocked by how well written it was. PLEASE watch it if you haven't already. When you do, you'll see how well the devs translated Pablo's Brujo abilities and Kelly's attitude into the game.

  5. My big problem with the f13 comparison is that nothing happens most of the game. You meander through houses hoping to find something and usually don’t. Then when the exciting things happen, Jason is potentially strong enough to kill you immediately if you don’t find a pocket knife

  6. Thats a very good point I never thought of, when 1 person everybody wins, and your right one person makes it to the end and lives you still feel very accomplished despite you dying

  7. Almost every other Killer/Survivor kind of game (sorry i dont know the category name) is better than DBD. The only advantage dbd have is the variety of characters, maps etc from both licensed and the base game. The game design of DBD is horrible for both sides, the lack of balance and gameplay diversity is what i think holding dbd back. If only there is a Halloween The Game,i will be quitting dbd in a heartbeat, thats just how bad the game's current state really is.

  8. I think the ultimate problem with ED the game will be it's branding. Though it may present a better overall experience and gameplay than DBD I still think, no matter what, DBD will remain more popular in the long run. As this asymmetrical horror game fad plays out I don't think DBD will be surpassed in popularity. For one, it's the current set standard of the genre, and is already massively popular. There's also the factor that it has the "monster mash" factor of multiple franchise characters and extensive lore. Whereas Evil Dead is limited to it's own universe (much like F13th, the game).

I hope that this fact of success won't hinder DBD devs from taking the criticisms raised by E.D's successes in gameplay.

  9. what I highly enjoy about The Evil Dead is that my Demon is level 30 and I'm just now feeling more powerful. Lower level survivor can still feel great as long as you know a bit about the game. It feels great.

  10. Haven’t played it yet but I worry about future dlc for evil dead. I feel like they are kinda limited with characters and locations but maybe I’m wrong

  11. Evil dead feels so satisfying to play on both sides. I enjoy playing it and taking risks that could lead to great rewards if it works and surprisingly I feel like ether side does take long to look for a game. So far I am loving it.

  12. Evil dead the game makes it better then dbd like when I’m done seeing ash getting chase by legion or ghostface I play edtg to show the entity how stupid she really is and Who likes doing gens 80 seconds or more?

  13. What I like a lot about Evil Dead's gameplay is that it feels very fair. Survivors will put up a darn good fight but the demon can do a ton of things to make things hard for survivors. Whereas in dbd it's like "aha oopsie he had dead hard and I didn't know my fault I guess"
