Ayo we back with the adept achievement series, and this time we’re on one of the lowest tier killers which is The Clown. I do a lot of explaining in my thought process and it’s a bit more “tutorial-esque” than some of my other videos, which I wouldn’t mind some feedback on!

  1. Just realized that I should be running STBFL… as a Legion main I don't have the issue you have as Clown. Since it only applies to BASIC attacks, I can just enter frenzy, stab the obsession, then either continue the frenzy or end it, either way the obsession is pressured and giving me eyes on everyone else. <3

  2. Personally, I like the chiller gameplay, even with the recap of "if I wanted to play sweatier/win this one I should have done x, y, or z"
The chill gameplay is one of the reasons I enjoy your content. I see sweaty builds all over, so it's a refreshing watching just a casual game with knowledge thrown in

  3. "Would that be something you guys are interested in, would that be something you want to watch?"

Personally, my favorite videos of yours are the ones where you're just chilling, having a good time–low stress, moderate energy.

To this day, your Pallet Tutorial video is the single greatest "How to be good at DBD" video I've ever watched. I always recommend it to new players, because you talk about concepts that have survived all the game's changes over the last 3 years.

I have 3k hours in the game, so I'm not really looking for educational DBD videos anymore (Otz appears to have that niche covered, anyway). You typically offer me fun build ideas worth trying out, and you often do so in a way that looks effortless. Your natural commentary is typically very relatable and enjoyable–I've played with and against you on multiple occassions, and I'll always watch those games back just to hear your commentary.

  4. Yeah, I run what I call Juggernaut builds like what Tofu was talking about in the second match sometimes too, they're a lot of fun. 🙂

Personally when I do it I'd probably swap out Dissolution for Enduring to reduce pallet stun time and replace Jolt with either one of the gen kicking perks to synergize with Brutal (e.g. Eruption, Pop, Call of Brine) or I'd skip the gen slow down and go all in on fast pallet breaks with Fire Up because it's hilarious once two or three gens are done and you just bulldoze every pallet, get bonked on the head, and break it before they can even get to the next tile. 😄

  5. Yes I'd like to see you play the weaker killers but as hard for the 4k as you can (with that infamous intelligent yet hilarious Tofu commentary). My favorite killers: Demo, Clown, Pinhead, Nemo or Wesker.

  6. We knew this was going on YouTube when we saw adept at the end. Ggs Tofu. I was the Nea

Edit: I was the blue hair Nea and we were a 4 stack. Meg is new to game. Absolutely shat on tho, good job

  7. I think there’s enough efficiency dbd players in the world, I’d rather you keep showing people how to have fun with the game even when it’s not the “op gamebreaking 😰😰😰” builds lol

  8. Is the STBFL thing just a "I don't want to use my consumables this boss fight in case I need them later." way of thinking hangup?

Is it not better to take the loss of STBFL stacks over ignoring the obsession? If you average every thing out, you're still gaining stacks 50% faster than you're losing them… Not to mention that you can't go below 0 stacks, so sometimes it cost you almost nothing. And when it does cost you, you still catch them faster than without STBFL…

    But then again… I don't have 10k hours… So I'm probably missing something.

  9. I got lucky with my Adept Clown and got it done first try. Also as a side note, Yofu you've broken me because now Ill cheer when I get value in a perk during Adept lol. Anyways, only perk I got value of of was Coulrophobia.
No gens got completed cause I was in a constant loop of downs and hooks, so never used Pop, and never vaulted so never used Bamboozle.

  10. I like a little of each, there are times to try hard, and times to chill. I think the adept challenges especially when you get the victory lap are some of the most fun. Kind of like a "pallet cleanser".
