In this 2-minute DBD guide, I go over how to play against Houndmaster; the newest killer added in Dead by Daylight’s Doomed Course Chapter (8.4.0 Update)!
Houndmaster has a dog as its main power, which plays similar to a combination of Artist’s crows and Pinhead’s chains.
As long as you know how to dodge the doggo during its Runs, you shouldn’t have a hard time against Houndmaster 🙂
NOTE:
To clear up potential confusion, the “Runs” that are part of Houndmaster’s chase ability, are officially called “Redirects” 😂 Run 1 is the 1st Redirect, and Run 2 is the 2nd Redirect.

Here are some other tips worth mentioning against Houndmaster 🙂
– You can tell you're playing against Houndmaster right away at the start of the trial if you hear the dog bark or see Houndsense on a teammate in the survivor HUD
– This rarely happens, but if a teammate next to you gets grabbed by the dog, you can actually go up to them and free the teammate like with Trapper's bear traps!
– Houndmaster can pet the dog, it's very cute <3
